This unit runs very quietly and has really good instrumentation. It has a fuel gage, (very important), shows how many hours on the unit, (helpful for maintenance purposes), and current amount of load on the unit. It is fuel efficient and easily transportable. I can hardly think of anything to make it better. Westinghouse did a great job with this machine!

After I lost the entire contents of my refrigerator during our last power outage I needed a generator. The iGen2500 easily powers my refrigerator, freezer and sump pump with power to spare. It starts easily and is extremely quiet. This is the perfect generator for my needs.

I bought the iGen2500 generator in August 2021 for power backup during hurricanes and the occasional cold snap! I followed the instructions in the User Manual and the engine fired up on the second pull. After a warmup, I tested several different loads (refrigerator, freezer, drill, fans or small space heater) one at a time. The iGen2500 tested perfectly! Following the recommended break-in, I changed the oil (now using 10W-30 full synthetic) and put a heavier load (refrigerator and freezer) on the generator. With ECO MODE turned “on” the generator handled this load just fine.

Bought this generator primarily to be able to run a 15K a/c unit in the RV as well as for the odd portable needs requirement. I am currently midway thru my own break-in procedure of 1 hour run with varying loads, then drain the oil, refill and run for 4 hours with varying loads, then good to go. Using a 600w fan, 1800w hair dryer and a 15A HF air compressor, all at varying times to apply load and this iGen unit has passed. The air compressor did kick the breaker when it tried to restart with 80psi head pressure on the compressor. I can't fault the iGen as that is a very heavy starting load. I pressed the circuit breaker reset while the iGen was still running, depleted the remaining air in the tank and turned the air compressor back on. The iGen handled the startup without issue. The generator's noise level is less than that of a push lawnmower when the air compressor was running, so it will work great for the RV. I am very impressed with this unit.

After researching inverter generators for our camper the Westinghouse stood out as the leader of the pack. It is very compact which makes it easy to pack for our camping trips. It is light enough at 48lbs for my wife to be able to pick up and move it around. Most importantly it is powerful enough to start and run our 10.5 btu air conditioner in our pop up camper.

Just got this,easy to read directions,started right up.Not quiet as loud a a push mower. Will power a 1500 watt electric heater and a few 100 watt lights. Now I am waiting for an emergency power outage to see how it stands up to several hours of constant use.

This is my first generator. It is simple to operate. It handled the load I needed which included an office space with multiple computers/monitors, an entertainment center, and a rolling A/C unit. I really like the digital display of remaining runtime, power usage, and fuel level. This is my natural disaster and power outage go-to unit. I would recommend the unit.

We used this generator to run our electric tiller at some rental property we own. The house doesn't have outside electricity. This generator was quieter then I expected. It did a great job and we completed the tilling without an issue. We also plan to take it with us camping in the future.

As someone who bought the the iGen2200 in May 2017 and was satisfied with its performance to date, I expected great things from this set. It met my expectations and then some. Easy to start and a great interface telling me how much run time is left, fuel consumption and load %. Really good addition to my power generation group. Excellent timber finish too

I bought it in March of 2022. The only issue is it will take 20 to 30 pulls to start! I only use ethenol-free fuel. Handel's load well, I am able to run a 13,000btu RV a/c unit with no issues. I did 3 oil changes for the break-in. each time the oil got cleaner. The button to page through the readout is cheap and sometimes hard to get to the readout you are looking for.
