The generator arrived today and I was excited to unbox and test it. Setup was easy and started on the 3rd pull. Ran it for a while to break it in and tested several different loads and it responded beautifully to the different loads. I believe it will serve us well when the power goes out at home or when we take it camping. It is so light weight and portable and sips very little gas! Time will tell but I believe this one is a winner!! Will follow up with another review once i have had it for a while.

After a great deal of research for inverter generators I decided to get 2 iGen 2500s. Generators appear to be well built and of good quality. After adding oil, both generators started right up. Sound level is comparable to one of my old Yamaha 2000 generators. I paralleled the generators to check function with RV and appliances worked (I have yet to test the AC unit). Bought both units specifically for my RV since onboard generator is out of commission. Overall, very happy purchase.

Great features when comparing the price to others. Other generators are comparable, but lack the convenient LED display for fuel level and loaded watts. Unit is very quiet. Only negative I have is that the spark plug is a bit tricky to screw in (due to a slight insertion angle) and verify it is completely flush. Only problem I've had and I've loaded the unit to 2000 watts (2kw) and it ran fine. My max load will be 1800 watts, so I considered this enough of a test.

I had very excellent experience while starting up the generator. It is very quiet and easy to understand its operation. Manual is very easy to understand. It started up for the first time with just three tries and handle the loads efficiently. Small enough for easy carrying on my truck and for storage. I highly recommend you purchase this generator

This is my first generator, it is just the right capacity to keep us going during a power outage. It can be carried around and doesn't need wheels. I like all the features and ease of set-up. The owner's manual is very well written. I tried it out and couldn't believe how easy it started, first pull! Works good. I like that it can run for 10 hrs. on one gallon and has the load sensitive engine speed control. Also, the carburetor bowl drain is a nice feature.

I just purchased this item. Set up was a breeze. It started on second pull. So easy my wife can easily do it - and she doesn't like messing with it. If it does all that is advertised and other long term reviews say, I will be very happy with the purchase. I like the weight and size. I can easily place it in the back of my elevated PU.

The iGen2500 receives 5 stars as it it truly an excellent generator for the price. The documentation coming out of the box was very high quality and easy to follow. After reviewing the instructions, I filled it with oil and gas. It started on the first pull and is now "purring" away in my back yard. As with other reviewers, I am impressed with the quietness of the generator, and it will be a welcome addition to my camping experience from her on out.

I wanted a small generator for worksites that was portable and quiet. So far, so good. Nice size and weight, and quiet when not under load. Not particularly quiet when powering a power tool, but then the noise of the tool is more than the generator. Haven’t tried full load because I’m still in the break-in period, but it seems to power up quickly and effectively as needed. Only flaws so far is that it takes a few more pulls to start than I’d expect, and access to the oil fill requires removing the side cover, but this seems to be common with this form of generator.

I bought this recently and have not used it yet, but prior reviews by campers led us to buy it because we have small travel trailers and should be able to use our A/C with this generator when power is not available! At least we hope so, but, regardless, it has enough power at least to run a couple of fans, tv, lights,etc. and the price was excellent! It’s also lightweight enough that we can lift it and can set it in a small dolly to roll it up a ramp into our pickup! We’re looking forward to using it!!

I got this inverter generator because of the spec. I needed for my 2 refrigerator and cellphone charging in case of power outage. It quieter than the traditional generator. I love how easy it is to operate. when it arrived, I fill in the oil then gas, turn on the switch to choke, pull once,switch to run, pull again and it started working. I happy that it is so simple to operate. I've plug in my fridge and it's running like normal and the display is very helpful.
