The setup and features are great!

I bought this to power some things up in my house during a power outage. It runs very smooth without any hiccups at all. Love how they make a dual fuel option. Also love the button layout and how the outlets have weatherproof covers. Most generators don’t give you what you get with this one for the price!

Solid product - straightforward operation

Living in wild fire country, power is not as reliable. This generator was easy enough to setup. The instructions are accurate and helpful, except for the choke operation is backwards. Starts easily with correct choke. We have not truly tested with a large load, but I expect good performance.

Fired right up on propane, seems great!

Bought for emergencies, so time will tell. All you have to do is put the supplied oil into the crankcase and attach the wheels and 2 rubber feet. This took all of a few minutes. I used the included hose and hooked it up to a 15 lb. propane tank, gave it a few pulls and it fired up and ran like a watch. With the 3 year warranty, I don't know how you beat it for the money.

So far - so good !

I bought this dual-fuel generator before winter set in and had to use it in February and in July when our power went out for a day. LP was easy to start up and switching to gasoline was not a problem. The price was right and the dual-fuel feature was key to my purchase. It runs a little loud and you have to make sure it is on a flat surface as it will naturally vibrate around a bit.

Dual fuel making this a great useful generator.

Easy set up. Great price. Easy to follow instructions and only one hick up. There is a misprint in the set up instructions. Instructions says set the choke to the off location when cold. It should be set to the on position. Always choose on when generator is cold. Only go to the on when you are restarting the generator after it's run awhile. Otherwise no problem with generator. Love this product.

excellent generator

I am 70 years old. it's hard for me to start it on gasoline setting. I was able to start it when I switched to propane. I switched back to gasoline easily. I used it to run my propane furnace when the power went out for 3 hours. I also ran the starlink internet system and a 75" smart 4k Oled TV. I was actually so proud of myself. I live alone and I was able to accomplish all this with no one's help. I gave it a 4 start rating only because I had a good hard time with the pull cord.

Started right up

I recently got this generator and gave it a test run before the big snow storm. It was sitting in below 0 temps and fired right up after a couple pulls. I didn't lose power so it was never put in use but everything seems great. Hope I never need to use it but I'll be glad to have it when I do. Everyone should have one of these for their home.

Great For Backups

Purchased prior to a storm and luckily haven't had to use it. I've connected it to the home and just run it for a few hours (on propane) and it seemed to manage everything minus the main AC unit. Hope to never have to fully rely on it, but sleep comfortably knowing it's available and capable of powering the essential of the power ever goes out. Love the dual fuel option to keep it empty of fuel when not in use.

Engine failed within the first day of use.

Failed within first 10 hours of use. Something came loose in valves. Repair shop charged $350 to fix and Westinghouse would not cover the labor. Worst part is we spent $600 to have a generator in case we needed it and the first time we got to use it it failed the first day and we were out of electric another three days then we had to pay another $350 to have it fixed. For $1,000 I could have gotten a better generator. Would not recommend.

Very good so far

Too early to give it a full review, but I bought it this week and have tested in using both gasoline and propane and it works as advertised. Startup with the remote electric start is a real luxury. I'm still sore in the shoulders from trying to pull start my old generator (it never started which is why I bought a new one).
