Bought this generator a month ago before a big storm, and it is working great. Very easy to start, operate, and with the dual fuel feature, gas and propane, it is a great convenience. The unit has plenty of power, so operating multiple appliances in my home is easy. I am very delighted with my purchase.

Just received the generator and have only did the initial test run of the unit. It came with everything needed less fuel and the unit started up on the first pull. It runs a lot quieter than expected. So far I am very impressed with the product and would recommend it anyone looking for a generator.

Big snow storm coming, wanted a generator, liked this one because it was dual fuel. Haven’t used it yet, but wanted to let it be known that we followed the start up instructions and it didn’t want to start. We pulled the recoil handle several times and it wouldn’t start. And we tried following the written instructions quite a few times. We moved the choke from off/cold start and pulled the recoil handle just a few times and it started right up. Maybe make a note in your instructions to try moving choke towards on/warm if generator doesn’t start after a few pulls.

Bought this for the ice storm we were supposed to get this past weekend. While I didn’t end up losing power, I’m glad I have this generator for future events. Very well made and solid. Duel fuel so you can run gas or propane which is a great option to have. Very pleased.

I bought this product just before our last ice/snow storm. I had some issues starting on propane due to cold temperatures but it started on the second pull on gasoline. Unit runs smoothly and is fairly quiet. Once temperatures moderated I was able to start the unit on propane without significant trouble. All said it’s a good unit for the price.

I purchased this for inclement weather issues and have not had to use it yet. However, I did add gas and oil and then checked to see that it would start. It started right up and ran smooth and quiet. I am sure that I will not regret the purchase of this Westinghouse generator!!

I recently got this generator and gave it a test run before the big snow storm. It was sitting in below 0 temps and fired right up after a couple pulls. I didn’t lose power so it was never put in use but everything seems great. Hope I never need to use it but I’ll be glad to have it when I do. Everyone should have one of these for their home.

I am 70 years old. it's hard for me to start it on gasoline setting. I was able to start it when I switched to propane. I switched back to gasoline easily. I used it to run my propane furnace when the power went out for 3 hours. I also ran the starlink internet system and a 75" smart 4k Oled TV. I was actually so proud of myself. I live alone and I was able to accomplish all this with no one's help. I gave it a 4 start rating only because I had a good hard time with the pull cord.

Easy assembly. One design change to improve would be to make the oil fill more accessible, even just a move out closer tot the perimeter. I have to work repair options due to the pully assembly apparently being damaged. Appears dented in and the cable won't recoil after first pull.

Perfect size for backup power thru a 30 amp transfer switch, or to power an RV with one AC unit. I purposely chose the pull start version for simplicity, its very easy to pull start. Also love that I can safely switch fuel from gasoline to propane while its running.
