I bought this for portable power for our camper. It has all the power and outlets I need. Also, it will be handy for the occasional power outages we get here in Central Tennessee.

I have just purchased the generator and used it let. Hope it exceeds my expectations for electrical power outages. Can this generator use gas on one use, then the next use be on propane? During the same outage of electrical power? Thank you

The first couple of times were very frustrating to get the thing started. It was unreasonably tricky. It got better on the 3rd use and hopefully it won't happen again. Otherwise, it's easy to set uo and runs good.

It was delivered earlier than expected. Set it up and it started up easily using the pull cord. It was a lot quieter than what I was expecting. A nice generator at a good price.

I bought this and assembled it after removing it from the box, the presentation in the box was great, after assembling it and filling the required fluid levels, I tried it on my patio & yard lights & it performed exactly as expected.

Easy set up. Great price. Easy to follow instructions and only one hick up. There is a misprint in the set up instructions. Instructions says set the choke to the off location when cold. It should be set to the on position. Always choose on when generator is cold. Only go to the on when you are restarting the generator after it’s run awhile. Otherwise no problem with generator. Love this product.

I finally broke down and bought a generator. I am so glad I choose the WGen5300DFcv - Dual Fuel with CO Sensor Model! I love the option for duel fuel, easy to put together and always good to be prepared! Looking forward to continued use and always being ready for what mother nature has instore.

Too early to give it a full review, but I bought it this week and have tested in using both gasoline and propane and it works as advertised. Startup with the remote electric start is a real luxury. I'm still sore in the shoulders from trying to pull start my old generator (it never started which is why I bought a new one).

So far, so good. The wheel kit was easy to mount. After adding oil and gas, the unit started on the third pull. I've only had to use it for startup testing so far (thankfully), but it does what it's supposed to do to this point. I've had a different Westinghouse generator for a few years, and it has worked well. I expect the same for this unit.

I purchased this in preparation for a forecasted ice storm. Thankfully, the storm fizzled in my area, so I didn't have to use if. I have started the generator and tried both gasoline and LP. With both, the generator started with one pull. I also plugged several electrical items in, to confirm the generator was working. It was. Hopefully, I have insurance against a power outage, that I never need to use, but if I do, this appears to be a quality generator. The only downside that I see is that this generator doesn't produce a pure sine wave, which is needed for sensitive electrical equipment, like computers, tvs, etc. Other than that, I am pleased.
