I just purchased this generator as I was impressed with the written specs that exceeds my expectations. I was impressed when I opened the box and pulled was able to view the product and see the styling, and the easy to see and understand various controls. I look forward to completing the small construction pieces and cranking it on for a test run.

I bought this generator a few weeks after moving out of my moms place, the new place we are renting does not have solar panels/backup batteries so we decided to invest in a generator we could take with us anywhere we moved and it’s one of those things you assume you will not use often but we do!! The generator always starts up quickly and easily and we have not come up on any issues with it and we are almost coming up on a year with it. Very happy with this product

We bought this product just after hurricane Helene came through the mountain of North Carolina. We were without power for about 3 weeks. Having a dual fuel generator like this one with 120 and 240 capability is truly a life saver. We were able to keep essential items running and were also able to help our neighbors who were also without power.

Bought this for the ice storm we were supposed to get this past weekend. While I didn't end up losing power, I'm glad I have this generator for future events. Very well made and solid. Duel fuel so you can run gas or propane which is a great option to have. Very pleased.

I bought this dual-fuel generator before winter set in and had to use it in February and in July when our power went out for a day. LP was easy to start up and switching to gasoline was not a problem. The price was right and the dual-fuel feature was key to my purchase. It runs a little loud and you have to make sure it is on a flat surface as it will naturally vibrate around a bit.

Failed within first 10 hours of use. Something came loose in valves. Repair shop charged $350 to fix and Westinghouse would not cover the labor. Worst part is we spent $600 to have a generator in case we needed it and the first time we got to use it it failed the first day and we were out of electric another three days then we had to pay another $350 to have it fixed. For $1,000 I could have gotten a better generator. Would not recommend.

It's great that the electric start works so well! I injured my shoulder and pull starting my generator did not help! After 20 min of barely being able to turn my generator over, I went inside and shopped for a new generator that had electric start! I found the Westinghouse 5300 dual fuel was the perfect fit for my power needs for my home! Out of the box followed the instructions and I had power to service my home needs! Purchased the wheel set and makes it easy to take out of storage and wheel outside! Also great value for what I needed!

I bought this to power some things up in my house during a power outage. It runs very smooth without any hiccups at all. Love how they make a dual fuel option. Also love the button layout and how the outlets have weatherproof covers. Most generators don’t give you what you get with this one for the price!

Living in wild fire country, power is not as reliable. This generator was easy enough to setup. The instructions are accurate and helpful, except for the choke operation is backwards. Starts easily with correct choke. We have not truly tested with a large load, but I expect good performance.

Bought for emergencies, so time will tell. All you have to do is put the supplied oil into the crankcase and attach the wheels and 2 rubber feet. This took all of a few minutes. I used the included hose and hooked it up to a 15 lb. propane tank, gave it a few pulls and it fired up and ran like a watch. With the 3 year warranty, I don't know how you beat it for the money.
