Had some shipping damage to heat shield after unpacking so I took it off and straightened it out the best I could. Changed to a floating neutral, filled with oil, hooked up to a LP cylinder and started right up. Should be just what we need when the power goes out!

So far we are happy with this product. I very much like its design. However I was concerned that the oil container that came with the generator has conflicting measurement on it. One side says one thing and the other says something different, hopefully it will be ok.

I have a small collection of propane tanks laying around. Because this generator can use propane, I have filled up the tanks in case of emergency. They can be stored indefinitely and the propane won’t go bad like gasoline will. I love having options!

This product is great. Shipped on time and assembly was easy. I was expecting to have to do much more since it is duel fuel. Actually was just putting in the oil that came with it and easy funnel also that was included. Started right away and smooth and quiet. Great product.

Had it shipped from Sam’s Club. Great price. Runs great and powers most things we have in a small mountain cabin when the power goes off. Have to pick and choose what you want powered but that’s what I wanted. Installing a power panel transfer switch is the way to go to take advantage of the 5300’s L14-30amp plug.

I bought this generator after Hurricane Sally, I needed a small generator that would run my refrigerator and other small items in my house. The duel fuel feature was definitely a plus, and the fact that I can hook it directly to my house was awesome! I highly recommend this product.

I love that I can use gasoline or propane to fuel my generator. It is also very easy to move around with its handle and never flat tires. I also like the cool look it has. It starts easily and i feel great knowing back up power is always ready for an emergency.

Just bought this and am overall impressed with it. It's my first generator ever and it looks to be very good quality. Westinghouse had been around a while and that's one reason i got it. Plus almost all the reviews were great. Can't wait to use it when i need it!

I found this to have a good quality engine. I really like that it has the ability to run on gas or propane. And also its ability to produce 5300 watts make it a good buy. I took one star away for the simple fact of the low quality modified sign wave.

I did some extensive searching when looking for a generator, needed one primarily for my camper. I found this generator and for the price I couldn’t complain. When I opened the box I really liked the features the generator had, especially the monitoring system so you know your service times. Having the dual fuel option is also a plus.
