The BILT app directions were great! Everything came well packaged. We purchased two of these pergolas and took about 5 hrs for each. They are beautiful and smell like sap. I loved working on this project! None of the pieces were too heavy for me to lift but definitely easier w a partner. No regrets!

It took about 2 days to put together. There was extra bolts which help since some bolts were bad.

Looks great, it took 3 of us about 5 hours to put together. There's lots of little hardware pieces but the instructions were pretty clear. Seems durable and well made. We look forward putting it to use.

I ordered this pergola and was super excited that it was going to be delivered the same day. I get a delivery notice and my son texts me to say they delivered a TV and not a Pergola. Sam's says they will resend the pergola. Great! Only my order was canceled 2 days later saying it was now out of stock. Customer Service confirms they are in stock at the local store where the first one was supposed to be delivered from. Ridiculous. Canceled our membership. Might seem petty, but Sam's your customer service for a paid service really sucks.

This pergola was a seamless install. It took my husband and I about 7 hours to put it together. This is a very sound and strong structure for the price. Highly recommended!

It was easy to assemble. But you need to apply water sealant before you assemble. It was nice when assembled. But after 4 months most of the pieces developed cracks. Some cracks all the way through out the piece. They are not surface cracks. I think once the wood expose to heat it starts to bend and then start cracking. They hide the cracks with putty but one expose to the heat these cracks goes all the way through the wood. Its not easy to replace these pieces unless you take down the whole thing. Most of the reviews here posted as soon as assembled so not much about durability. May be I got a bad unit that's why I gave 2 starts. Highly doubt this will survive the winter. And also if you want replacement parts within warranty period still you have to pay for the parts and shipping.

I am very happy with my purchase. I bought this pergola for my parents anniversary gift. It took us approximately five hours to assemble everything.in my opinion, the instructions that were provided to assemble The Pergola was very easy to understand. I highly recommend this product.

Okay so this is a great product for a great price but there are a few things I want to say. This is not a novice DIY project. There are several steps that require multiple people, the hardest being the end when you put the assembled structure into the footings. You should have a good drill with multiple bits. Also two ladders and a long level. The most challenging step was bolting the footings into concrete. The bolts provided are junk. We had to go to Home Depot to purchase good quality concrete bolts. All of that being said, the finished product is strong and beautiful. A custom cedar pergola of this size would have cost six or seven times more, so it’s definitely worth it. Just make sure you have some help, the right materials, and purchase some good concrete bolts.

This is a great value for any homeowner wishing to build one. Minimal experience needed. Would recommend a inexpensive impact driver to save assembly time all parts of laid out with numbers and instructions are very detailed. I had to shorten mine 1 foot which was not a big deal for me. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to build one yourself. The cedar is much lighter to handle than pressure treated wood and it smells great.

This is by far an excellent buy. It is easy to put together, and it is absolutely gorgeous. I mostly put it together with my teenage boys, and needed the husband to jump in on a few occasions when we needed a 4th person. It took two 4 hour days and this is because it was way to hot to work and not take breaks. I highly reccomend this over any of the metal structures.
