I like this Women's Healthy Balance for this reason, it has a couple different strains and it's for women and it's by Culturelle a name I have trusted a long time.

I was experiencing an increased level of menopausal symptoms and hadn't been feeling too great, I started taking it daily about two weeks ago and I feel like some of my symptoms have faded into the background a bit. They are easy to take and I trust the Culturelle's brand.

This version (the digestive health one) has 10 Billion CFUs and 200 mg of Inulin (Chicory Root) to help with digestion. The inulin seems to help provide fiber and keep you "regular." This was the only brand of probiotic that my GI doctor recommended, so I feel confident that it is effective. I feel that it has made a significant difference for me after using it daily for a few months.

So far I haven't noticed any health effects. However, I am happy that the ingredients on this product have improved. It doesn't contain dairy, gluten, soy or artificial dyes and preservatives.
