OK

Scallops were a bit sandy so soaking is suggested. They were a bit chewy after cooking. We cooked them slightly undone in the middle as to not over cook them. You could tell they had been frozen. Not bad overall.

Great scallops

When I opened the bag, the smell was just as I remembered from the east coast. The scallops were all a good size, and had that hint of sweetness. Cooked them up in some butter and garlic, but not too long so they didn't get tough. They were so good.

Yummy!

Sam’s saved Christmas dinner! So happy to find these scallops. Prime rib and scallops is our tradition for Christmas Day dinner, and I scrambled to find scallops this year. These were so good, pan fried with butter and garlic. Highly recommend!

Sea Scallops Same Price but 1/2 pound less

The sea scallops from Sam's Club are excellent. But now for $29.99 you get only 1.5 pounds instead of 2 pounds. We're paying the same price but for 1/2 pound less scallops.

Excellent Quality Scallops

Great tasting and very reasonably priced. These are flash frozen right when they’re harvested. The only way you get them fresher would be to harvest them yourself. Anything you’re getting “fresh” inland has been frozen anyway. I like to sauté them and cook them over pasta or make scampi with them.

Great Scallops!

We were very impressed with these scallops. They are a good size, clean white in appearance, and have a sweet, mild flavor. The fact that they are wild caught in the USA was the reason we tried them - we are always on the lookout for safe, high quality seafood, and these definitely meet those qualifications. Could not recommend more highly.

Would you like to taste a REAL scallop?

You can tell they were frozen fresh. They're delicious, a very good size & the bag has a decent amount. They're even large enough to wrap a half of slice of bacon around! No more wasting your money on those faux scallops once you've had these and you will not regret it! I recommend this product.

A real treat

Very tasty. Just make sure to keep them fully Frozen after purchase, that quickly just before cooking (I put desisted amount in gallon zip lock bag and place on cold water about an hour before cooking) dry thoroughly than cook. Opening the zoo lock bag of thawed scallops, they smell just like the sea.

Not dry- ingredients added

They aren't bad. Cook up decent. That said the description is incorrect. They are not dry and have two other ingredients- salt and sodium citrate. They are processed soaked scallops. If the were dry it would be a decent deal but for wet scallops it's kind of a rip off.

Nice large scallops and very tasty!

Excellent quality! My suggestion is to put in a colander, but the calendar in a large bowl, and run cold water over it for about 15 minutes to thaw. This defrost them nicely and also rinse the scallops of any foul water or taste that might have been frozen in. Broil them or scampi over pasta with garlic! You’re not gonna get any better than this unless you get them fresh from the boat. All scallops are frozen anyway. If you buy them “fresh in the grocery store“ they’ve thawed them for you. Flash frozen off the boat is best.
