[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ninja Single Serve Specialty Coffee Maker is a dream come true! I am my own barista, in my own kitchen! I can make all sorts of different styles of coffee and the flavor is stunning. The frother is a game changer! I am still experimenting, but I am not just a straight black coffee type of girl anymore! My mornings are changed forever!

Not perfection, but pretty good. Had it for 6 months now; daily use. Relatively quick and easy. Coffee from K-cups is like any other similar really, with the exception of being able to control the serving size which equates to strength, so I like that. Most often, I'm using the brew basket for my ground coffee. I always use the "Rich" setting; not sure why one would use the others or what the difference is, as it's not explained anywhere that I know of. I've had one major glitch: it would not brew a k-cup, acted as though nothing were there. I finally discovered a tiny metal cylinder on my counter top which had not been there previously. Some examination of the k-cup adapter revealed a similar size opening around its lip. Turns out this was a tiny magnet which the Ninja uses to differentiate between the ground coffee basket and the k-cup holder. Not certain why such a differentiation is even necessary, and it certainly looks like a design vulnerability. I reinserted the tiny magnet into the k-cup adapter and it worked normally. Had that magnet made its way to the kitchen floor, it's very likely I would not have found it. Or if it came out in the dishwasher! But now we know about it at least, right?! The other negative is cleanup after using the permanent filter. The filter does its job well in the brewing process. Getting the grounds out of it is troublesome, caused me to spill some on the floor, utter some unprintable verbiage. So I bought some small paper filter inserts, 4-cup size I think. They're actually a little too large, but they're workable. A lot less work and frustration. CAUTION: Do NOT accidentally use TWO of the paper filters simultaneously! You might get an overflow. The frother works fine, but "frothed" milk is not the same as steamed milk. All in all, I'm satisfied with the product. It meets my needs and, most importantly, brews a nice tasting cup of coffee. I would purchase it again.

It is an excellent coffee machine that is perfect for those who love to have their coffee brewed from either grounds or pods. This coffee maker is very versatile with a sleek design that fits perfectly on my kitchen countertop alongside my other appliances. I am personally a fan of coffee from grounds, while my husband prefers the convenience of pods. The delayed brew (to allow for all the grounds to saturate) makes for an excellent cup of coffee. The brew was strong and fresh. As someone who doesn’t have space or finances to purchase an espresso machine, I am a huge fan of the specialty coffee brew feature. I think this brew is the closest I’ve ever gotten to a coffeehouse cup at my home. The added built-in frother – which folds to the machine for compact storage – really allows me to have a high-quality drink in the morning. One of my favorite features of this coffee maker is the water reservoir's large capacity, which allows me a few mornings before I have to refill. I also really like the ability to change the height of the cup holder. I think this really helps to limit the amount of splash that gets on my countertop. The storage for the pod/brew basket is convenient, and it's easy to switch between brewing methods, whether it be grounds or pods. I also love the built in storage for the coffee scoop. I feel the design of the machine was truly well thought out for someone who is making coffee on-the-go. Overall, this coffee maker is a fantastic choice for anyone who wants a versatile coffee maker that can brew coffee from grounds or pods. As a barista, I’ve always enjoyed making specialty drinks for myself as well as experiment with different flavors yet I was only ever able to do it at work and now I can do it at home as well. I love the fact that it can be used with k-cups as well as with regular coffee. It can make bigger size coffees as well as iced, and comes with a milk frother to make your own lattes! It is a great size that can fit in many spaces in your kitchen (or office). And it is very easy to clean.

We especially like the flexibility of making different size coffees and using grounds or pods. The adjustable drip tray can also be raised or lowered to accommodate brewing with large or small cups. The water reservoir is convenient for making multiple cups of coffee without needing to add water each time. The built-in frother is very handy and easy to use as well. Overall, we’re really happy with this coffee maker!

It is very easy to clean and easy to use once you get over your fears. I love that I can use k-cups or regular grounds. (It just needs an attached grinder) comes with lots of extras IMO including a measuring spoon and water reserve. Ninja is a fabulous brand - stop what you are doing and get this for your home or office.

The water tank is sufficient enough to handle at least 4-5 cups of coffee at one time before needing a refill. The settings are on one dial to simplify the process of selecting the different type of coffee you like. I enjoy the small narrow design to fit on my counter without taking much space. There is even a attached pull out milk frother to customize your drinks even more, making it an all-in-one one stop shop for coffee production. The Frother itself is quiet and warms the milk up to an efficient drinkable temperature, but the machine itself as it brews the coffee on the hot side is a little buzzy. Nothing short of what's expected but I feel like it could be quieter. When using ground coffee clean up as a breeze just pull out the filter and there's no mess. The filter is reusable, washable and very durable. With care, I can see this coffee machine being used for a long time in an individual office desk setting, or single person apartment. I can't see it being used for full house family that drink coffee on the regular.

I had to work a little to adjust the flavor to what I like but it has all the right things to create some very unique beverages. I find the for frother to be the most interesting part. It's fun and feels fancy.
