I am a former home builder and the brockton pergola was the right size for my patio project, me and two men put it togather in 6 hours and the instructions were easy to follow. I would say most do it your self people could put it togather in a reasonable time

The pergola itself is awesome!! We chose to put it together ourselves. Took some time but we got it together just fine. Only problem we came across was some warped boards which makes it very difficult for holes to match up. Also a couple of boards had some gowges. Wish they would have included a small can of stain so we could try to cover them up. All in all we love how it looks. Looking forward to getting some lights to put on it!!

Beautiful, modern looking pergola. Seems sturdy and overall happy with the purchase. Took about 6 hours to put together with 2-3 people (mainly for extra hands to hold things in place.) The boards were pretty warped in a lot of places and you had to pull them together forcefully to get things to line up right. Very pleased overall.

Assembly took a few hours longer than estimated in the instructions, but at the cost of cedar these days, I'm satisfied with the purchase. Also, the directions instruct the assemblers (took three at one point) to install the four plastic post foot covers on last - after the pergola is assembled. Not a good recommendation, as the pergola is 400+ pounds heavy at that final juncture.

Love this! We did see a cheaper one at the store but this was a-lot sturdier! However our pillar has a crack down it so sad hoping it does not get any worse because we have it all assembled now! But love this completely!

Great looking pergola once assembled. Some of the wood was a little bent, or warped, but nothing major and straightened out with a little push before screwing.

WonderfulPergola! We love it! Don’t hesitate to purchase. My husband is pretty handy and was able to finish it in one day with a little help from a friend.

The unit is installed barely a year, powdery streaks (not sure mildew) all over surface & in wood eyes. Surface also chipping & cracking in the post. Filed claim to the company, their customer service said we need to apply water sealant every year. We did pay for installation and additional $ for sealant & concrete mount initially. In our case, It’s merely a year, the wood simply would hold up. The fact that we’re in a very dry & sunny region, moisture certainly is not the cause or issue here. Without offering further inspection, they simply provided a scripted answer & excuse. There is no disclosure of product maintenance requirement prior to purchase or warranty disclaimer. They said they’ll be willing to replace parts, but we have to pay for shipping… not to mention the labor to dismantle & rebuild which will end up more than buying a new one. Their products are made in an offshore country where wood quality are inferior. Had we known where it was produced, would not have bought at all. In their disclaimer, they said wood cracking, warping, peeling and cosmetic appearance are excluded. We’re surprised Sam’s Club would sell their product when this supplier does not have a fair reputable warranty policy in place. Don’t buy from this brand/company.

Exactly what the yard needed. The unit was not a bad assembly. Took about 5 hours for 2 people. Instructions could be a little clearer but just need to really review the images to make sure you align the holes as needed..learned that on the the first joist..after that..pretty easy set up and it looks Great!
