Mostly Satisfied

Unlike many reviews prior, I had fantastic delivery of this item. A call 40 minutes before arrival that he was on his way. I didn't pay extra to get it inside of my home, but the driver was kind and pushed the box right inside my front Door into my living room. I even had to sign for receipt of item. Delivery was 5 stars for me. The 4 star rating is due to some minor cosmetic damage to the wood. Not really sure if it damaged or they just missed staining in a few spots. The largest area is on the side, near the back (hidden by my wall). Not enough to return. All directions and extra items were included. Directions on the app were there as well. Overall I am very happy with this item and would purchase again.

Good entertainment center

This is a very nice piece of furniture. I've only had it a few days and everything works great. Wife always wanted an electric fireplace and she is extremely happy with it. Now the bad. As others have mentioned, shipping has been interesting. The first one arrived damaged. There was a big gouge on the top surface. Never even took it out of the box. Called Sam's and they had a replacement sent that same day. The second one arrived with a damaged box also but the unit itself had no damage. The shipping company has been a challenge to retrieve the first damaged unit but finally have a scheduled date for pickup. This whole process has taken almost a month but I finally got a good unit. Overall happy with it and Sam's quick replacement.

Read this review

I researched fireplaces for A LONG TIME and just loved the look of this and the fact that it does not need to be assembled. I read all of the reviews, and I knew that a number of people reported damaged goods. I decided to take a gamble - big mistake. This piece of furniture is beautiful and I would have loved to keep it but it is damaged beyond repair. I had considered fixing it ourselves just so we could keep it but it's impossible. I'm currently waiting for customer service to contact me. If you're thinking you might take a chance on this, please take this review as a warning.

Needs improvement

Bought in February 2023, haven't used much but already the motor for the fire effect is making a weird noise and the thermostat for the heater auto shutoff is about 10 degrees off...make sure you open before taking it home or upon delivery, my first from the store was destroyed in the box. it's a nice piece of furniture but I expected no issues at this price.

Membermark fireplace

FYI. Units heater WILL come on by its self after a power surge or power interruption. We have now come back to the house twice after a power outage to fine the heater is on. Please unplug your fireplace if you are leaving for an extended period of time

damaged upon arrival in front.

You can tell by box it was handled roughly. The front is damaged beyond repair. The worse delivery service I’ve ever had. They didn’t show up at the assigned time now a lengthy delay in picking up. So for now this large piece is sitting in my living room
