After retiring I developed throat cancer. For about four months I was using Ensure through a feeding tube. That was ten years ago. I lost a lot of weight during the illness, so my doctors suggested I use Ensure to add calories to my diet. I used Ensure Plus, four servings a day until I got my weight back. Since that time I have used the product to maintain my ideal weight. I have tried other meal replacements, Ensure tastes better than the others. The new packaging is great.

I lost at least ten pounds, I also lost my appetite. I am grateful that I loved the taste of ensure. So I had no probable drinking one can each day.
