My husband was drinking it too, but he is in stage 5 of kidney failure. So he had to stop drinking it per the doctor. But I do enjoy my ensure everyday. Thank you!!!!

As a fellow health care professional l must respond to this and with great enthusiasm: Contradictory to the "doctor" reviewing Ensure, I am a nurse who has worked with thousands of patients, from children to the elderly. This drink supplement is an absolute benefit at times when calories and nutrition cannot be accommodated through the traditional 3-meal intake alone. They are great for snacks and they only have 39 total carbs (Total carbs 40g - dietary fiber 1g = 39 carbs in one bottle serving) - not the 60 carbs that was erroneously suggested. Enjoy them in the fridge. They are great! Even kids will love them! Chalk full of vitamins and minerals. Yum!

If and whenever I drink coffee...I try to look for the "nut-flavored" creamers. So, when I came across this, Butter Pecan, I jumped on it! I freeze the Ensure to make milkshake or mix vanilla ice cream to make cream pop. Now that Ensure has product with more Proteins, this is good for my mother's meals. Thank God for Ensure .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have reached my 94th year and lately experienced a loss of appetite and taste . . but, have found a mid afternoon rest and sipping an Ensure Original Coffee Latte is a real pick-me-up . . . especially for a coffee lover . . . it is also comforting to know I have enhanced my caloric and vitamin intake to offset the smaller meals I now prepare for myself . . . and even though my taste is diminished the coffee flavor peeks through in the latte :-)

I do not eat healthy all the time, so I can alway count on Ensure to help me when I need to lift my energy level. I enjoy the other flavors such as strawberry, pecan, and vanilla too, buy Chocolate is definitely my favorite.
