I bought this two months ago, and I use it once every day. That is enough for my skin. It took about two weeks for the zits that were already present to clear up, and I haven't had a breakout since! At first it did make my face dry, so I would use moisturizer after I used this. That took care of it!

I have used this product for years (exactly 5yrs) and i absolutely love it! it leaves my skin extremely soft and blemish free. i barely ever breakout and it works great to wash your makeup of. i would really recommend this to someone with oily skin not dry because it is a oil free wash so it might dry your skin even more if you already have dry skin.

This is a great value. I cannot wash my face with it daily because I do have a very sensitive skin, and I do slightly react to this, but there are a few things that I don't react to overall this, clean my face well, and left me with a very slight irritation.

I started using Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash about a week ago, along with Rapid Clear Acne Eliminating Spot Gel and within 2 days I could tell a huge difference! I would have been willing to leave the house without make-up, which is a big deal to me! These products together cleared my acne up quickly. The only reason I would not give this product 5 stars is because it dried out my face to an almost painful point. I went on day 3 and bought Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin and that helped alot. I have never considered myself to have sensitive skin, but the face wash and spot treatment made it sensitive to everything. I would recommend to anyone wanting to buy these products that they get a moisturizer, too.

It dries out the skin *really* bad. However, as soon as I wash my face off, I immediately apply an oil-free moisturizer. At first, it makes your pimples & such more red & noticeable, but this usually goes down within the next hour for me. By using this twice a day my blemishes usually go down the next day or so, so generally about 4-8 washes before a blemish isn't red anymore or noticeable. Sometimes, if the pimple's head is hard & you let your skin dry off a bit, if you pick off the head & wash your face again this also helps lower the zit/pimple/whatever. This is the 1st product I ever tried for my acne, and it's been keeping any facial blemishes I get under control.

I have never written a review before. I am 35 and hair oily/sensitive skin. I purchased this to try as a basic bha cleanser. I washed my face with it ONE time and woke up the next morning with red swollen face, burns, and tiny little blisters all over my chin and around my mouth. My skin was so good before, and I am so sad that I tried this and caused so much damage. It ruined my skin! I highly doubt I’ll ever use a Neutrogena product again, if they can cause this much damage I don’t trust their products anymore.

I love this product, for the past 6 months I've been having a lot of trouble with my skin. I've tried a lot of different products and nothing has rly worked for me. Within a week my face was clearing up..all the little under the skin blackheads were gone, as well as the infected bump. I have very oily skin and since using this product I have noticed a lot of the oil is gone too. I did have to buy an oil free moisturizer for my cheeks tho, they aren't as oily as my t zone. Everyone is gripping about there skin peeling but I think that's kind of the point to an acne wash, how are u suppose to get rid of bumps and blackheads without exposing them first. It did burn the first couple times I used it but the burning has stopped now. It's strong and may not work for everyone but I'm thankful to have it.

This is the only thing that has helped my pimples and sebaceous filaments. The ingredients do t feel as harsh as they used to be and the texture isn't as drying as before. Seems like they've improved the formula or my skin changed? Either way, it works
