I bought this a couple days ago and I’m regretting it. After buying I used once before going to sleep. Unfortunately I wake up to my face and neck covered in a rash/hives. My face felt like it was on fire. Fast forward to today after having to use a burn relief gel for the past days, my face is slowly healing. It feels less like it’s burning/stinging and the blotches are starting to go away. Would not recommend this product for people with sensitive skin or who don’t have a lot of acne. One problem area turned into a full face and neck full of problems.

Works great, l used it a long time ago when I had acne and it really helped. You get the clean feeling and the salicylic acid gets rid of the oil in your face. Be sure to rinse your skin very good after using this,I used micellar water afterwards to get rid of all the residue

This is the only face wash my husband will use because it is the only one that works to control his acne and oil production. It can be a bit drying, although that is probably from the salicylic acid, but if paired with a good moisturizer, that is nothing to worry about.

I've used this wash since my early 20's, I'm in my 30's now, swapping out my regular body wash twice a week in the summer months and once a week the rest of the year. My skin is always silky smooth, I love that there's no lasting scent or residue feeling on the skin.

I'm someone who suffers with acne/ combination skin and unfortunately this product did not leave me impressed. ✅Pros - affordable - available anywhere - does give a deep clean ❌Cons - strips away your skins barrier - promotes oiliness - too harsh to be part of a daily routine - didn't pair well with other skincare products (even the gentle ones)

I love Neutrogena, but even with this brand it was hard for me to find something for my breakouts. Finally, I did! I love this face wash with my whole heart and not going to exchange it for anything else. My skin feels super clean, not oily for the whole day, breakouts noticeably reduced. Totally recommend!

This product did an AMAZING job at clearing out a section of whiteheads that I’ve been trying to eliminate for years. However, for some reason when I use my sensitive skin moisturizer afterwards, it burns. My moisturizer has never burned with other products before, so I have to assume that it’s the face wash, but I work outside and it just started getting hot, so maybe I’m just sunburnt. In any case, I don’t want to give up on this product too soon since the results have been fast and effective. Does anyone know how to combat this? If I wait a while after washing my face to apply moisturizer will that stop that stop the burning? I love how clear my face is but I don’t want to risk damaging it.

i started using this product about 3 weeks ago when I started I felt it was cleaning my skin like my skin was soft but it wasn't smooth yet.. I used it for a week or two and I did the same routine over and over again 2 times a day everyday then some of my break outs started turning red so I stopped for a day . Its great but isn't the best .

Bought because I wanted to try out a face wash with salicylic acid and THOUGHT neutrogena was a reliable company. I used it only twice, and I have an itchy rash all over my face. I don’t have sensitive skin. I can’t believe they still sell this stuff even after all the complains. Will be returning immediately.

I'll start with my skin type. I have a very oily tzone and minor breakouts on my cheeks and chin. I bought this product on Sunday and used it that evening. I continued to use it twice a day I did see a different with the few pimples that I had they dried up pretty quick so I was happy to see that. By Wednesday my face felt awful! my cheeks, around my mouth and chin were/ are really dry and it burns and itches. So bottom line I do not recommend.
