GOOD QUALITY!

So thankful Sams Club carries the Chuck Roast cut in it's Meat Department. The price is reasonable and the quantity is nice too. Chuck Roast seems to have gotten so expensive elsewhere and sometimes the cut is hard to find as well. Our family likes to buy and freeze to have on hand.

Roast too small

I love making toast for my family and we’ve been buying this meat for a long time because the flavor is still really good and fresh. Unfortunately the price has gone up a lot while the amount in the package has clearly gone down — now I’m basically paying the same as before for almost half the meat. Quality is still there, but the value isn’t what it used to be. I’ll probably keep buying occasionally because the taste is great, just wish the portions matched the price again.

Sam's inferior meats

Your meat is more expensive than most area supermarkets sale prices $3.99-4.49 lb. And to add insult to injury, it is poorly trimmed with way too much fat. After trimming the roasts I purchased, lost about 1.25 lbs of fat. And you play bait and switch with some of your other cuts of beef. You package the meat so it looks lean. Once the package is open, one can see all the wasted fat on the underside. As a result of your practices, I try not to purchase meat in your clubs. Customers are forced to purchase huge amounts of meat that isn't very good. You can do better.

Quality continues to go down and price increasing

Purchased delivery from Sam's Club in Wilmington NC. I have been purchasing these for several years. This use to be very good product. In the past, there were 2 thick well marbled roasts in a package. Last few orders the quality has consistently been worse and worse. This came with only one scabby roast in package. Very little marbling, just huge chunks of fat, one end of roast considerably thinner that other end. So one end will be done much sooner that other end...... Basically poor quality cut. Will not be purchasing again.
