I am disabled and my son picked up my purchases for me. The two roast i purchased were awful, they had a lot, a whole lot of fat on them. By the time I cut the large sections of fat on. Them, I had the meat equivalent to one roast and it still had fat on it. Had I picked them up, I would have refused them immediately. Needless to say that I was very disappointed , I had planned to have two meals off of them and I had to use both. When living off social security, that means a lot.

This is the second time I bought a 2-pack chuck roast. Both times it has been flavorless and really tough - I'm actually sawing it with a serrated knife. My roasts are always amazing, so it's gotta be the difference in quality from Sam's compared to Schnucks or Meehans.

I bought this roast last week and I am so disappointed in the HUGE amount of fat content in the roast. Had I had company for dinner the 3.25 Lb. roast would have not been adequate to feed my guests because the roast was probably 70% or higher fat. I think the first roast I purchased a year ago was fine, so I don't know what's gone wrong, but the quality simply isn't there any longer.

Excellent product. Use for pot roasts, stews, soups, beef 'n' noodles. My family always eats it well. I prepare in the oven with brown gravy mix made with only half the water (the beef lets out broth while cooking) in a 350 oven until fork tender for a no hassle meal and serve over potatoes or noodles. Add a green veggie and you have a wonderful dinner fit for a king!!!
