Better yet put the roast, liquid and all I to the refrigerator and then shred it heating it up in the liquid until it is reduced to almost nothing.

Worst Chuck Roast we (life partner and I) ever purchased in 47 years. Thank God we did not invite our family over for dinner because we were busy. Cooked the roast in our crockpot the same as we always do. Roast came out tough instead of fork tender and tasteless. The topper is the Chuck Roast only came in a pack of two for $37+. When we cook the next one we will not invite anyone over for dinner I fear of same result. We were thinking of returning the cooked and frozen roasts for credit, probably should have. We decided not to complain but then I received this Review and thought Sam's and people should know. I can't imagine we are the only ones who received uneatable Roast.

It might not be the freshest, safest to buy meat as we noticed that Sam's Club beef is slightly aged compared to Shaw's in DWH, Nashua, NH. But when we pick carefully, it's still very good and safe. When we don't find a good deal at Shaw's, Sam's Club is our go-to. There always is a type of beef waiting for us fresh!

Disappointed in the cut of this meat. I have roasted chuck beef before and it would fall apart. It was for our family Christmas dinner and was very hard cutting it because it was so tough and the grain of the meat went every direction. Very tough. Have to wonder where this cut came from.

I've been buying the Member's Mark USDA Choice Angus Beef Chuck Roast for a while now, and it has become my go-to choice for making birria, a traditional Mexican dish. Even though the price might be slightly higher than what you'd find at most Hispanic grocery stores, the quality of this meat is unmatched. Delicious and tender in the crockpot, unfortunately due to massive price increase I'll no longer purchase it. From $6lb. to $10lb. there's no savings. Chuck roast is now the same price as Publix. No reason to spend the membership price and have zero savings. Sam's better wake up, this is the point of having to pay a membership. Lower prices than area stores.

I guess sand has decided to no longer sell the roast in a 2 pack. This is the second time we've received only 1 roast. Also second time our roast has been under 2lbs! This isn't large enough to feed my family. Ordered this as a pickup. They are also a lot thinner and mostly fat.

There isn't enough meat in the package for 2 people once it is cooked. Not about the flavor. It's about you cutting the quantity and size down to the point you can't feed a family of 4. Chuck roast have a lot of fat and they shrink. What a waste of my money. I will have to go buy another one some place else.

Fixed as pot roast like I always do. It was not tender. Very disappointed
