Nice looking unit that is reasonably portable. The wheels and legs were easy to assemble. The metal cover on the Pull Cord retractor was dented probably because the FedEx driver delivered it on end with a hand cart. I was surprised that it started on the first pull after I bent the fins off the cord reel.

I received the generator for Christmas. There was some assembly required, but very easy to do. Great instructions. After assembly, I read the startup procedure. I chose to use propane instead of gasoline. The propane "hookup" was simple. with a few pulls of the recoil starter, and BINGO! We've got back up power. The generator motor runs especially quiet. More so than I expected. Nevertheless, I am happy with my Christmas gift and confident if I need to put it into service, It'll meet my emergency power needs.

One thing to note. This generator cannot put out 120v and 240v simultaneously per the manual. I bought this to power my well which is on an adjacent property and requires 240v so it is perfect for my situation. I have another generator for my house. If you need 120v and 240v at the same time you need a different generator.

I have had this since Dec. 31, 2022. I have tried it about 8 times, using both gas and propane. It conveniently was able to change from one source to the other without shutting down. I had a slight problem with the choke position, I have learned were to put it. It seems fine so far.

I bought this generator to supplement our Solar System during bad weather and a power outage. The setup was easy, and it started right up. I particularly like the engine oil funnel that comes with it, which made it super simple to fill in the engine oil. The oil came with it, too.The dual fuel option allows to use regular BBQ gas bottles, which you can store longer that gas without the fuel going bad. The hardware for attaching gas bottles is included.

I haven't used this yet, it was a gift for emergencies. It is super solid and seems well built. I like that it has a ton of features but I really like the idea that it can run on gasoline and propane. If I don't have one on hand I always have the other. The stoppers and wheels go on easily. The hardest part was getting the box in the house lol. Don't forget to buy a generator cable to use with it

Had a power outage due to strong winds and thunder storm. Power want out for more than a day and started to panic because was afraid food would spoil. Noticed niegbor had a portable generator connected to his fridge , portable lights and TV. Decide to purchase one , man it was the best investment ever made.

We were one day into the start of the worst power outage in our state in 25 years. I had installed a portable generator hookup two months earlier, but with a milder than usual start to the winter, I was in no rush to buy the generator for it. Fortunately, Sam's Club had just received a shipment of these generators, and I was able to get one before they sold out in less than 5 hours. Setup took about 30 minutes, and it plugged right into my generator hookup. It started up cold with just 3 pulls, and ran perfectly for 25 hours, when I shut it down to do the required first oil change. It started right back up and fortunately our power came back on a few hours later. I was able to save most of the food in my refrigerator and freezer, as well as use my CPAP, so I could get some much needed sleep. I may get a larger generator with a remote start later, and it will most likely be another Westinghouse.

I finally broke down and got my first generator! Last hurricane in Florida left us without power for a week! I spent 5 1/2 hours breaking it in hooked up to our travel trailer! Very easy to set it up with two feet and wheels! Great gauge which stayed at 120 volts! It was easy to add the oil and I ran it with LP GAS TANK! Absolutely a great unit! well made!!!

Great portable generator, with enough power to run my house during a power outage, and also being able to use on my trailer when camping, and quiet enough not to disturb neighbors or surrounding campers. Also being able to run on gas and propane is an even bigger bonus.
