I bought this generator a few months ago as in preparation for hurricane season. I’ve been running it for 5-7 hours straight for the past 3 days soon after hurricane Milton hit and had power outage. Positive: It has been a solid generator so far. Negative: it’s still a loud generator and the power cord rattles off the receptacle ( needs to be wrapped around frame or zip tied to stay on)

The WGEN5300DFV has every option that I need for my travel trailer and temporary critical power supply for my residence. The gas or propane was the decision maker besides the positive customer reviews. I've already used it so my review is current. Great product.

When I bought this I was really surprised in the quality of the unit and the ease of getting it ready to go. Easy setup and easy to start .. I had other brands of generators and this is the best for the money and will look forward to using it when emergencies arise or just when I need it for other uses .. thanks for a great product!

Purchased my WGen5300DFv and the process was flawless. Arrived early and with no damage or missing parts. Easy assembly. Started easily and worked perfectly. Unlike many other generators I considered, this one came with wheels and handle and will supply 120 or 240 volts.

Westinghouse warranty doesn't cover most parts or labor so their claim of a 3 year warranty is not true. Thankfully Sam's is a company with integrity because they've been very helpful since our Westinghouse nightmare started in January. The four generators prior to the one we have currently, all this same make and model, had catastrophic engine failures at around the 200 hour mark. The current one is at 125 hours and it's already starting to run like crap. Avoid this brand at all costs. It's not worth the price you'll pay in the long run!

This dual fuel generator meets my needs. It runs on propane so it requires less maintenance that gas generators. It is compact. It's light (136 lbs) enough for me to manage on my own. It provides enough 240 volt power to run our important circuits during and outage. Its ready to hook up directly to a 30 Amp/240 volt transfer switch.

We have had a generator on the top of our list since we bought our house late last year. I have looked at many different ones. We ultimately decided on this one after reading so many good reviews. The price for this dual fuel beat out many other brands. I no longer have to worry about losing my food during a power outage.

Bought this generator in preparation for emergency situations at my house. Lost power within weeks of getting it. Filled it with oil, hooked up my 100lb propane tank, filled it with gas and started right up. Powers everything necessary in my house, and love that I can run it on gas and propane, runs for a long time. Fairly quiet as well. I’ve already recommended this model to 3 family and friends.

This is my second Westinghouse generator. Both have performed flawlessly. It’s very easy to start and runs very quiet. I’m powering two 30 foot campers on my hunting property. I love the fact it is dual fuel. I recommend this generator to anyone that has a need for one.

I’ve owned several generators in my life, big and small, read the reviews about this one, decided to give it a try, I’m very happy with my purchase, it’s not too big and heavy, but it’s all there, quality parts, best of all I like the ability to use it on LP Gas or regular gas, it’s extremely quite, and will serve my needs for years to come I may buy couple more for my son and daughter, good thing to have, even if you don’t use it but once a quarter
