I’ve always wanted a generator I guess you can say I try to prepare for the worst. And why not have a back up power supply. So when I saw this I had to get it!!! I’m excited for my new generator and I’m about to make sure everything is good and try it out. I feel like an adult now. I love that it is dual for gasoline and propane.

When our power went out we borrowed our neighbor's generator and after using it, decided to buy one of our own! Easy to start and has good options at a good price. I would have liked more regular plugs for extension cords, but for the size of the unit I understand why there were only 2.

Finally some peace of mind knowing we have backup power. Great generator and I really like the fact it is dual fuel. Works just fine so far. I’ve only had it a week. Unfortunately, Westinghouse needs to package it a little better for shipping. Better protection and better box would eliminate damage during shipping. I do like the generator very much though.

Bought this to power my house via a transfer switch in case of an emergency. At 5000W, it doesn't power my whole house (which I knew) but it does keep the essentials going. For the price, I'm extremly pleased with this product. Westinghouse. A brand I trust.

We were so excited to get our first generator. We had been having outages in our neighborhood due to upgrades on grids. So we decided to buy a generator and it worked great! We were able to stay warm and watch tv while our lights were out. It was easy to manage and definitely got the job done! We're so happy we made this purchase!

Easy to set up, starts easily with the remote key fob and runs quiet (for a generator). The only issue I had was Xmas eve when the power went out and I couldn't get it started in 15 deg. weather. I thought the cold was a factor. Spoke with an excellent tech in Customer Support who gave me a few things to try. The first solution solved the problem.....keep the battery charged! It appeared to be charged but didn't have enough juice to get the unit going. My bad. Read the manual (yes, read the whole manual). Great customer experience. Thank you Westinghouse Power! My neighbor is looking for a generator and I will certainly recommend this unit.

We recently had a planned outage in my area due to changing of poles and I am currently working from home due to Covid and I used this two days for 4-8 hours and it worked perfectly. I was able to use my tv, my internet, and a lamp. I am looking forward to seeing how much juice it really has when we have to use it for longer!!

I'm glad I bought this generator because it's dependable, it has a convenient dual fuel power, the price was right for all the features it brings. It was easy to start it, runs smooth, it comes with wheels for easy moving around. I'm very satisfied overall.

Just unpacked the gen and set it up. No issues there, very straight forward instructions. The generator started right away. I purchased this for emergencies and I hope I don't need to use for that purposes only. I do have other uses for it. The oil fill method could be improved, it already has an attachment but it could be a little longer to be able to use it in a 90 degree angle. Another thing that needs improvement is the packaging, there are dents in the tubular frame but it is not affecting performance, all other components look fine.

The generator arrived quickly and appears to be very well made. I cannot speak to the long term quality as I have only ran it for one hour for the initial break in. I like that it actually comes with a wheel kit and oil. I noticed that similar generators did in this price range did not come with wheel kits. The manual is easy to understand and thorough. based on other reviews and what I’ve seen so far, I would recommend this generator to others.
