I bought this in case of power outages, emergencies, etc., I'm so glad we have peace of mind. We started it up, which was simple enough, and it wasn't terribly loud, which is great. I love that it can use both gas and propane. I'll have to test it out when the power goes out to update my review about appliances, hours, etc. Otherwise, it seems great.

Bought this yesterday, haven't had a chance to put it through it's paces but the unboxing and prepping for use was a breeze. The tools necessary for assembly of feet and tires were included as was the oil. Just need to provide the gas and you're good to go.

Was skeptical at first due to the shipping damage, but it turned out to just be cosmetic. Generator works great! Tested it using both gas and propane and no issues. I am impressed at how simple and seamless it is to switch between the two fuel sources. My only complaints are minimal - a wrench to connect the propane wasn't included and the tool kit doesn't come with a way to attach to the frame.

Bought to replace RV generator. After breaking in, I tested it by connecting it to the RV and running the 15,000 BTU A/C along with microwave plus coffeemaker and lights. Output on volt meter dropped by only one point. This should work very well for dry camping. Easy to start and easy assembly. Very pleased with my purchase! Already recommended this unit to my neighbor who is planning to purchase a generator.

This Westinghouse Dual Fuel Generator which uses gasoline or propane is just what we need in case of power outages on the farm. It was also purchased with our RV in mind. Stout machine with well marked controls. Instruction booklet was easily understood. A little heavier than I expected so it looks like it will last years.

Bought this so we could continue camping in our seasonal camper now that the power has been shut off for winter. Took it up, followed the easy quick set up directions and it ran everything we need to continue enjoying our time up there. And if we do end up losing power at our home I have complete faith that we can use this unit to run our home.

The Westinghouse WGen5300DFCV is incredibly well made. Its solid design and quality craftsmanship makes this a great choice for whatever your needs may be. We recently had a major hurricane come through our area and lost our power. The instructions were easy to follow and the generator ran well. I would recommend this purchase to anyone.

Bought this generator a year ago in preparation for the next major storm. Generator sat in its box in the shed for a year until Hurricane Helene hit us the other day. Broke out the generator, added the oil that came with it, hooked up the propane, and it fired right up with no issues whatsoever. My WGen5300DFv worked straight out of the box after sitting for a year. I am happy to say I am truly blessed at the performance and power of this model. I was running 2 floor fans, light, 2 refrigerators, and my deep freezer with ZERO ISSUES or Concerns. THANK YOU Westinghouse for an outstanding product. You bailed me out when needed and as I stated before I am truly thankful.

I purchased this generator when we were less than 24 hours from a hurricane threatening our coast. I didn't end up needing it then, but when the freeze hit Houston in Feb 2021, I tore it out of the box, threw some oil in it, and started it right up. I love that I can run it on gas or propane, as there are times that gas is not available. This is a great generator with plenty of power for the necessities, without being too big to handle/maneuver.

I bought January 2024 used only at hunting camp. Generator motor surged off an on. Used 2 weeks in January. Then started using again in Late October. First of December it quit powering the 2 30amp outlet. Only double 110 outlet works. Unable to find receipt.
