Just got the Westinghouse 5300dfv and it appears to be a good buy. Sturdy and appears well built. The subtle features like the rubber outlet covers and padded handle are great and make the unit seem a bit of an upgrade from standard generators.

I got my unit in today, So far everything appears to be in order. Ran my first start and started instantly. Running for 15 mins now and still running strong. Great unit for a great price!

Bought this unit yesterday, a little heaver than I was hoping however, very easy to unpack and light assembly. Instructions are clear and precise. Will be firing this puppy up today! Love the dual fuel option, neighbors already jealous!

Just got the generator yesterday. slight damage to one of the metal covers. unit runs well. Performed the one hour break-in with no issues. More quite than I thought it would be. Great Price with great options.

Nicely packaged, clear instructions... I carefully did the steps for the first start up (except) flip the on button to "on" - after I did that, it started right up.

Perfect setup for my general contracting needs. It is quiet compared to other generators I have used and perfect for a situation where if I run out of propane I can fill it up with gas.

started the unit up with LP but have not run it for an extended period of time yet. was disappointed that the unit did not come equiped with a remote starter
