Love it so far.

Just bought this yesterday because we had a storm go by and power outages. It was very easy to put together and the instructions were great. Ran all night, gas lasted about 14 hrs and I was able to power all the important things to include 2 fans at the same time. Noise is comparable to other generators but the closed windows drowned it out. Overall very satisfied so far.

So far so good

Started up on the first pull. It even came with oil! Unlike another product a friend of mine purchased. He had to go to three different stores to find the oil he needed. Easy to assemble (just attach the wheels and supports). Unit runs pretty loud. Handle makes it very easy to maneuver.

after one year

After shopping around I settled on this generator due to the power and features needed to use both with the RV trailer and in power failures. Now since I have had a chance to use this product to power the trailer and house I can review this product. I have found this generator to have good fuel capacity. It was easy to start in cold January in Michigan, as well as warm temperatures in May. fuel economy was impressive. fit, finish, and compact size was also good. controls were easy to reach and folding handle and wheels made moving it around easy. Generator would require two people to lift. It was not noisy and did not walk around due to its smooth running and rubber feet. Oil fill was not best location but generator came with a funnel. just go slow with oil.

Well made

Generator was well boxed without damage. Easy assembly - well designed - started easily. The only negative is the oil fill is hard to access even with the supplied funnel and draining the oil will have like issues. I think this was a good purchase at this price point.

So far so good

Just unboxed our new 5300DFv and am pleased so far. It was packaged well and included tools for mounting the rubber feet as well as a funnel for easy filling of the oil, very nice. Only reason for 4stars for me is I think it should include some sort of grounding wire. A grounding rod would be nice but that is asking a bit much. A grounding wire is a realistic and necessary request or expectation. Maybe I will come back and update after I run it a bit.

New generator failed the first time I needed it.

My wife purchased this for me last Christmas. I tested it and seemed ok. Placed in storage and when The hurricane came through and I needed it to at least to keep our food cold and run our lift pump for our septic, it wouldn’t stay running. I had new gas, the oil was clean, air filter looked good, even added octane boost and it was just running rough until it quit. Then I noticed it is leaking a little gas out of the bottom of the carburetor bowl. Now I’m throwing out all of our food and if the power doesn’t come on soon, will need to find a hotel as my septic will be full.

Great buy!

I bought this back in January because we had a power outage in our area. I used to power up my fridge and my desktop. It was easy to set up with no issues. I like the fact that it came with its tools and oil!!! So all I had to buy apart was the fuel to turn it on. Love the dual fuel feature.

Easy to put together and get running.

Out of the box and assembled easily. Started right up and had no issues so far. The oil funnel that was supplied is awesome since it threads in and has a rubber gasket to stop spillage and made oil filling painless. I live above 5000 feet and would have liked the high altitude kits to be supplied but over all I am happy I bought this unit. It seems to run fine at this altitude but after reading instructions I think I will get more performance with the kit installed.

Worked well and consistently

I bought this during Hurricane Ian and it was a life saver. Easy to start and plenty of power to run my refrigerator and small appliances and charge the phones. The only minor complaint was the oil dipstick was very easy to put back in just a little crooked so that oil spewed. I became adept at adjusting it carefully.

Very Satisfied.

Started first pull on propane. Not really planning on running it on gas unless I have to. Instructions were easy to understand. The oil was premeasured so you dont have to guess at it which was outstanding! I hooked it to my 26 foot camper and it ran everything like ac unit and all lights and never made any kind of straining noises. They recommended an hour running with no load for a break in period, I ran it 2 hours. Runs smooth with almost no vibration. The only reason I didn't give it that 5th star is because she is a little loud, and I would have rather had solid rubber wheels instead of plastic. But the price was right and I am still very pleased with the unit.
