I upgraded from a gasoline only generator to this dual fuel unit. It was well packed and took only a few minutes to unpack it, put the wheels and feet on and add the oil. Started on the second pull and ran smoothly. I have only tested at 3600 watts so far on both 120v and 240v and the generator handled it with no problem and almost no change in the voltage. I really like the versatility of the generator having the option of using either 240v or full power at 120v.

I bought this generator to keep my home alive during outages and it has proven to be a great purchase. It starts everytime with minimal effort and it delivers the power I need every time. I am looking to get another one for my mom’s house. Great product.

Probably one of the best investments in our house! Easy to start, easy to follow instructions, not that loud, Long lasting hours, capable of lightning our house and rooms air conditioner, only thing not use was oven and water heater. A plus for this products.

I bought this nice looking easy to store generator one month ago.Servicing was simple and easy enough.It was packed with everything I needed to get it going. I’m actually going to buy another Westinghouse dual fuel generator that will power my entire home.Hopefully it will also come with a cover as well. I purchased a WGEN5300DFcv portable generator a few days ago and I've been very impressed with it so far. After the initial setup, it started easily and ran flawlessly for a few minutes. My initial test was using gasoline. I'll try the propane sometime but I need to purchase a propane tank first. I'm impressed with the quality and now I'll be ready the next time we lose power. I also plan to use it when I used corded power tools on the areas of my property that are too far for a cord to reach. Great product!

Bought this now I'm ready for the next big storm. Just tried it out seems to be working fine. If you hate wasting money buy one of these generators for your house and have the peace of mind and food that you spent all your hard earned money on. This will pay for it self in a few years. Reasonable price as well

We bought this in case of emergency as we recently experienced an earthquake and a severe wind storm that left us powerless for days. We were unprepared and had to leave our home as we couldn't survive w/o power. We now have peace of mind to know that when this happens again, we are ready and will be able to survive for a few days w/o power. After much research and comparison, we purchased this generator because of the dual fuel function, it's capacity to meet our voltage needs, other great features and the price was right. We have yet to use it, but are happy with it thus far as the set up was easy and we are now prepared - come what may!

We bought this 2 days ago and are so excited about setting it up and using it during the blackouts that are predicted here in California this summer. The instructions are very clear and we anticipate no problems making it operational with propane because gas generators are illegal now in california.

My portable generator arrived today via FedEx ground. 150 lbs and the driver manhandled it no dolly. Struggled with removal from truck but did so with some external box damage. After removal from box, quick inspection showed vent/guard for pull start was dented. I managed to straighten it as best I can so rope pull will spin. Followed all startup procedures and it went great. Tried 110 vac items and it works great. Took photos will see if customer support sends me replacement part.

The only issue with the generator was that during the time I used it it revved up twice (surged). However, after turning the generator off and restarting it, this resolved. Overall, the generator is reliable. It got me through two hurricanes. I highly recommend it!
