I like the dual gas feature in the event of emergencies. Lubricate the bolts prior to attaching the mounting foot. It is very tight to the point that the bolts would not screw in. I was worried that the bolt would snap and after wishing some WD40 I had no troubles.

Packaged very well but easy to unpack. Very heavy so if you are a senior citizen I would recommend getting help unpacking and installing wheel kit. Put oil in generator, connected propane, turned choke on, turned switch on and generator started on like third pull. So for very pleased. Runs quieter than some the other brands my neighbors have. Definitely nice product. I bought it for home backup for power outages during storms etc. I feel confident it will meet my needs.

bought this generator last week Ive used it twice now. easy to start. and seem to run good on half power. love the dual fuel part.. only ran it on gas this time so hopping the propane runs as well as gasoline one small flaw is chock switch seems a bit flimsy hope it holds up but for the price great generator ..

I just bought this for a potential hurricane coming our way. Brought it home and was able to get it put together and cranked over in less than 20 minutes. Start it up perfectly runs very smooth and so far we are very happy with it. If and when we need it, I will come back and add to this review.

Love all the options with this Generator. Multiple plug types and optional fuel is great for our camper. We don't dry camp often but power was an issue one time when we almost ran out of gas. We left a day early to prevent this and having this unit could have got us enough time. One feature I wish these or any other generator had is a tube that routes draining the oil as it is always a mess. No matter how you try to prevent it, oil just seems to get on something and makes a mess but placement of the drain or a tube that routes to an open space would definitely help and be a big feature for someone to make the purchase.

I purchased this generator just days before and it already has proved itself invaluable. I am constructing both a house and a shop and will utilize this generator while we wait for the energy company to tie us into the grid. Once that is complete, I will kee0 this as an emergency backup. Great product so far.

Living in Texas during this extreme heat of June and July I knew we were bound for brown and black outs of our electrical suppliers. This 5300 watt gen with it's higher starting wattage was just the thing i needed to keep the fridge and the freezer going! When I did my calculations I found that I was able to add a small room AC unit and a TV. Much to my surprise this little unit just chugged away! Lower noise than the older gens I had used many years ago and the price was a pleasant ease on the checkbook. All in All a great unit at a great price! And it really does the job! Purchased this genny in preparation of the possible power outages from the "Siberian Express" snowstorm headed towards the Great Lakes. This is the first one ever owned, and the many excellent reviews, affordability, and Westinghouse brand helped make my decision. Since it hasn't been put to the test yet, this review will be updated later.

After losing power several times this year and the fact that you never know what might happen and how long power may be off , I decided to purchase a generator. There’s was some damage to alternator cover and to frame ,but started on second pull. Not sure how much use I’ll need, but will have it when needed.

As of now, My generator has been excellent. I haven’t yet had the opportunity to really test it during a power outage, or any other time of need, but it came just about fully assembled and without hassle. After installing the wheels and feet, I simply poured in the oil, started it up after a few pulls, and run it through the 1 hour break in cycle without any issues. given the specs and features, I feel confident it will stand up to anything I’d ever need it for.
