The Westinghouse Generator I purchased was the WGen5300DFv. This generator has what I was looking for; dual fuel (gas and propane) with a pull chord to start. The price was excellent and a great value. This will be used as a backup generator in case of power outages. The wattage is enough to power most of the items in the house. Would definitely recommend!!

As a person who uses oxygen - this generator is life-protection for me! DURING HURRICANE it worked so beautifully - could not possibly ask for more peace and security. STARTED EASILY ON VERY FIRST TRY. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GENERATOR FOR YOU!

I Just bought this to replace an existing generator that was many years old and worked flawlessly through several hurricanes. It even supported my neighbors. I expect continued excellence from this Westinghouse generator. It has all the features I require including a propane capability.

I purchased this as a farm use generator. I need use of an air compressor, and other corded tools and equipment. It'll also be a back power supply when necessary. So far so good. It has run a 5 HP compressor with no problem along with a grinder and sander. Seems to run quite a long time, but I really haven't run it at it's max. But, seems to be good enough for me if it can run an heavy duty air compressor.

I purchased this generator based on the raving reviews and the quality of Westinghouse products. I am not disappointed and assembly of the wheels and legs were super easy to install. The size of this generator is PERFECT as I have seen some humongous ones.

We bought this for our camper and back up at home. The duel fuel amd the ease of switching between the fuel and the camper plug in were part of the reason we chose this one. Unfortunately when we opened the box the axle socket/axle frame bracket was bent, so it doesn't roll the best. It does run great and does what it was intended to do.

Living in So. Cal we experience power outages frequently, lasting as long as 3 days at times. We brough this generator to power our fridge and possibly a light and/or fan. The reviews are what led us to purchase. We have yet to use it but can tell you it is easy to assemble and comes with the fuel regulator and the wheels (big plus)...saved us on buying extra accessories. Looking forward to using it.

Much, much research went into the purchase of this generator, and it's just right for our needs. Your needs may vary. This is enough for a refrigerator, a couple of computers, a few lights, a fan, and charging cellphones...maybe more, but we haven't tried more than that yet. Love the dual fuel, since propane stores well, doesn't go bad, and doesn't gum up the carb. I haven't run it on gasoline yet. The slightly lower power compared to larger generators means lower fuel consumption and longer run times per tank of propane. You don't want to be looking for gas or propane after a hurricane. Also wanted a generator that can easily be attached to a transfer switch (which needs to be installed by an electrician), so there aren't extension cords everywhere. This one fills all those needs and is compact to store in my small shed. Non-electric start is a plus for me, since there are no batteries to die and need replacing. This pull-starts easily. Only tradeoff is noise; it's an open-frame model and is louder than most inverters. Overall, very happy with this generator.

Last mount here in Katy Texas we were hit by a tornado and my in-laws let us use there Wgen5300DFcv and it ran the essentials and a portable A/C unit keeping my 10-month-old happy. This past Saturday I went and Bought the Wgen5300DFcv in preparation for hurricane Beryl. I recommend this generator to everyone

This is a great item to have especially if you have numerous power outages as we do.My wife and kids got me Westinghouse 5300 for Christmas, and like clockwork , after a big snow Christmas night our power went off. We popped the generator out of the box and had it fired up in less than 15 minutes and it did everything we needed it to do.Love the blue color and the Westinghouse brand has always been a trusted name in our family for decades.
