Bought because of power outage to replace older generator. The dual fuel is a great feature. Power was off for 40 hours and I ran this generator for 24 hours with a break every 8 hours to check the oil and give it a break. Not only did it not use a drop of oil but the ease of starting is amazing. Used exclusively propane and love the idea of not having to deal with gasoline and gummed up carbs. I powered 2 freezers, a refrigerator and several other items without any issues. Each tank of propane lasted over 12 hours. Simple to use right out of the box.

Host registering my Wgen5300 now and it’s saying I get a bonus item for leaving a review. So far kind of disappointed I had so much trouble finding a cover, figure it would be offered with the purchase but oh well. Already spent hours finding a cover to match dimensions and paid for it to arrive same time. Now I can’t find any info on this cover offer. We shall see.. Generator seems nice and has plenty of good reviews, haven’t fired it up quite yet, waiting to be ready to give it the proper Maintnance. I did put wheels and feet on which was pretty easy. Thumbs up so far.

I bought this a month ago after California decided to start shutting our power off for "wind". It starts right up and has enough power for my house and then some. What I really like is the option to use propane instead of needing gas to sit around and go bad if I don't use it for a long time.

I have had this since Dec. 31, 2022. I have tried it about 8 times, using both gas and propane. It conveniently was able to change from one source to the other without shutting down. I had a slight problem with the choke position, I have learned were to put it. It seems fine so far.

Came just in time during hurricane beryl and I opened box and got it up and running in less than 15 minutes(of course reading manual) I did however experience a stripped oil filler cap that resulted in it not closing all the way and leaking motor oil. Idk how or where to find the size of the oil filter cap so I can get a new one.

BOUGHT THIS TODAY. 30 MINUTES TO SET UP....INSTALLED WHEELS, ADDED OIL, AND READY TO GO. TESTED BOTH GAS AND PROPANE. WANTED SOMETHING SMALL AND NOT TOO HEAVY. NEEDED THE 120/240 30AMP RECEPTACLE. ADDING 30AMP INLET TO POWER THE BREAK BOX. NO COMPLAINTS. HAPPY CAMPER. MAYBE MOVE THE OIL DRAIN OVER A LITTLE TO THE RIGHT AND MAKE THE OIL FUNNEL AN INCH LONGER. WOULD RECOMMEND.

We bought this with emergency in mind. We live in an area prone to hurricanes and we thought we might get prepared this year. We hope not to use it but very relieved we have it. Although first time buyers (us included) need to run it BEFORE you truly need it, so take time to prep your generator. So take time to know your model.

BOUGHT this generator last month (December 2022) for our camper when the power goes out. Had a big snow storm and power was out for over 24 hrs. This powered our camper (41ft Montana) like the power wasn’t out, could barely hear it running while sitting inside. In 24 hrs we burned about 6 gallons of gas. Very easy to set up, started right up after a few pulls to plumb the fuel lines. After that a could start fires up first pull.

Bought this mostly for our 30a RV. Even here at the house we lost power a few weeks ago and could only sit in it (trailer) and run the 12v stuff, mainly lights. We can now run the entire trailer off this one including AC, microwave and over the air tv. I had read it runs a little quieter on propane and after trying both it and gasoline I believe that to be a true statement. With that said I absolutely love having the chance to run either fuel source, always have 13 or 14 gallons of ethanol free gas and 60lbs of propane on hand. Bring on the winter, we are way better prepared than we were before this generator.

I have a sub-panel installed on my house so if the power goes out, I can hook up a generator and run my essentials, HV/AC, fridge, and sump pumps. Power doesn't go out very often so I wanted a generator that ran on something other than gas so that the fuel doesn't go bad in the tank waiting to be used. Propane never goes bad so this is perfect! Work great to power my camper as well at sites where there is no power.
