It found a the last min. We did not have any power at the time. The power was off almost all week. Need it to help save my food in the refrigerator and defreeze. it is one the best that see that use two source of fuel. I will be tell ours about this amazing tool.

High quality and well built machine. It looks like a professional rig and has a lot of great options for many different uses. I mainly bought it for backup power but according to the ratings on this unit will power a whole rv. I hope to be using this generator for a long time. The propane option is another reason that I bought it. The dual fuel option adds a lot of diversity in usage.

The generator started on propane on the first pull, ran smoothly, and handled my test load easily. I plan to connect it to some of the circuits on my breaker panel and test it again later. When I started assembling the wheels I found that one wheel had the wrong axle diameter. Fortunately, I was able to contact Westinghouse online and submit the info on the problem with a photo and they very quickly sent me a new wheel which solved the problem.

Bought this generator just before Hurricane Hillary hit our area in Los Angeles. Hillary did not hit as hard as expected in our area but having this generator gave us a piece of mind. Tried it to see how powerful it was and it worked great. With the earthquakes we have here it's a good thing to have just in case.

Had it shipped from Sam’s Club. Great price. Runs great and powers most things we have in a small mountain cabin when the power goes off. Have to pick and choose what you want powered but that’s what I wanted. Installing a power panel transfer switch is the way to go to take advantage of the 5300’s L14-30amp plug.

I was happy to find a dual fuel generator at such an affordable price. Then I was surprised to see how easily the generator started on Butane fuel. The unit performed great with steady voltages and great load acceptance. Initial operation was great.

Although I bought it in December of 2022, I really haven't had the need to fire it up yet, but should to have it ready on standby. I relish the fact that it can run on either gasoline or lp gas. A big advantage where I live. My only regret is that I didn't buy a bigger output unit but alas, I have enough to keep the lights, refrigerator, and HVAC going for short term outages. Happy camping.

I purchased this unit especially due to its dual fuel capabilities. This unit to my surprise came with propane regulator and hoses ready for use and worked very well. The unit instructions for start up were very helpful and the generator started easily.

Just bought it today and haven't used it yet. Westinghouse has been around for years and they have always been reliable. If I'm not mistaken they built the turbine generators on the submarine I was on during my tour in the Navy. I feel very comfortable purchasing their products.

We ordered this generator after we were caught struggling for a week without power and May and another week without power in July. Won’t catch us again! We ordered and received our generator quickly, broke it in, and now we are prepared for the future! Good price, easy to break in, and easy navigation.
