We ordered our unit online. It was in stock at our local store in Chattanooga so we went and picked it up same day. Set up was quick and easy with the instructions provided. I ran a short test to verify it will run my furnace and appliances. We are very pleased.

Definitely worth the price. I have more of a sense of security for my family now that i own this. I live in Florida and have gone through many hurricanes where i was without power for over a month on more than one occasion, losing everything in my fridge and freezer, sweating day and night. Now i can breathe a sigh of relief knowing i have a good quality generator that taks both propane and gasoline in case ofan emergency.

So far, so good. Did not take long to get the wheels on and then take it out to the patio, add the gas and oil and start it up. Bought it to replace an 27 year old Honda 5000 generator that was starting to die. This new one has more wattage, is smaller and is easier to move around that the old Honda.

I was anxious to try the dual fuel aspect. Other than preliminary start up on both fuel types, I haven't really tested the unit, but everything seems to run good. It did come with a couple of cosmetic issues (dents and scrapes) but nothing that keeps the unit from operating properly.

The generator itself seems good based on the test run using both fuel sources. However, I was dismayed to pay full price for a unit that arrived damaged (frame is bent). I can live with it, but clearly this unit is so heavy that it is posing shipping problems, based on my review and others I read before purchasing. I’m sure the FedEx delivery guy literally cartwheeling the box up my driveway did not help the final arrival condition.

Out of the box; it takes about five minutes to add oil and fuel, read the instructions and the generator is ready to go. Apply the choke and it starts easily on the first pull. I have used the generator daily, for several hours each day, in the August heat, with no issues.

I purchased this generator because it is powered by both gasoline and propane. That comes in handy when gas is in short supply as it was after Hurricane Ida. It works as advertised having both a twist lock 120/240 outlet providing 44 amps on gas and 40 on propane, and a 30 ampRV outlet. You can actually switch between fuels while the generator is running. I’m very happy with this purchase

Works well, GENERATES 5300W of 240vAC and 120vAC electric power from Propane or Petrol (gasoline). Starts easily and is very easy to use, with clearly labeled and designed switches and outlets. I highly recommend this for those who need the versatility of 120v/240vAC from dual fuel. I used it on a cement slab to run a large Rotary Hammer and drill holes for several hours continuously with no problems. Be aware, however, that it is massively heavy and a bit loud (75db), so it’s a two person job to haul it up onto a truck or up stairs. It also arrived with heavy damage because it was shipped in inadequate flimsy display packaging. I had to go the vendor in person to get it replaced; if you don’t pick it up yourself, and have it shipped, be sure the vendor/shipper uses additional extra heavy-duty boxing material.

Took a while to get. It was delayed at every stop from the west to the east coast. Box was opened on the bottom and top. Only one of two straps were in tack. Freight driver said the original label was damaged when picked up at origin which held it up. No apparent damage to product.

This is my second Westinghouse generator. The other is an inverter style, this one is quite surprisingly quiet for an open frame style. It is louder than the inverter, but nowhere near as liud as my other open frame generators in this class. Great overall use, nice to have the option of selectung voltage to conserve fuel qhen 240 is not needed. In dual fuel os a must for all generators i purchas in the future.
