I have always liked and used upright vacuum cleaners. This Bissell was well priced, the attachments are very functional. and it cleaned my carpets very well. My house is mainly carpeted except for kitchen and bathrooms.

This is a really good vacuum for the money. It's not quite on par with the Shark that it replaced, but it also didn't cost over $200. So if you need a good vac for around $100, this is definitely the one you need.

i’ve had this vacuum for about a month and it just lacks. starting with bare floors - it picks up the cat hair but that’s about it. any stray pieces of dry cat food dropped, you have to manually detach the wand and suck it up that way. i have tried every setting to see if it was an issue with height and it is not. it is impossible to pick up anything besides hair. using it on my rugs - it seems like the vacuum is trying to eat every single rug i have. again, no matter what setting i try for thickness the rug is stuck along the along and it does not pick anything up. my previous vacuum had no issues with these contents. however on my carpet - i do feel that it does a nice job of picking up any stray litter my cats track and it makes the carpets feel clean and fluffy. oh it is also SUPER loud which is something that concerns me with living in an apartment with people below me. overall, i would not recommend. i will likely return and spend an extra $50 extra to get a better quality vacuum

The vacuum is easy to use and I really enjoy how it picks up dust and dirt. Great product.

Gets the job done! I wanted a cheap vacuum, because I only have 2 large rugs and all other floors are hard wood. This one is great on the rugs and actually does a really good job on the hard floors and base boards too. I have an “cordless vac/broom” that I typically use on hard floors. One thing, i do wish that this vac had a small brush attachment (in addition to the stair or pet attachment). But it is easy to operate, maybe a little louder than some vacuums. I’m pleased with this purchase.

Great vacuum for price. Powerful suction. Easy to use. Easy to dump and clean bucket. Flaws, doesn't fit into ateaa like underneath bed so have to use hose. Wish had an additional attachment without spinning bruch to use on curtains, etc. But overall, pleased with purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old Bissell was so old I couldn't get parts I needed for it anymore. I'm guessing after 18 years or so it's time for a new one. Love our new one its light and being able to reach ten feet or more with the wand is a great advantage. Especially as we get older.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first day we used it our new 3534 picked up so much cat hair and crud the mor=tor got hot before I realized the tank was already over-full. This was right behind where our Hoover had been. We love the fact there are NO bags and how easy it is to empty the container. Love the rewind feature. Negative things? So far zero.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was amazed!!! I just vacuumed with my previous (Shark) vacuum 4 days prior. My new Bissell vacuum picked up so much dust and dirt. My area rugs actually felt cleaner on my bare feet. I thought I was cleaning my house pretty well, and it turns out, it wasn't really clean! I love my new Bissell!
