I am very happy with my purchase. I actually enjoy vacuuming again. Cleaning it is such a breeze, I do it after every use. I want to make sure this machine lasts a long time. It is built well, the section is great, the manoeuvrability is easy for a woman my age. The filtration is excellent. The quality of carpet and bar floor cleaning is wonderful. And the noise is minimal, not at all a distraction or annoying.

This is the most powerful vacuum that I have ever used. I have vacuumed and shampooed my carpet several times and I THOUGHT it was cleaned. Since I bought this machine... oh my goodness, the dust, dog hair, and other debris it has picked up. It has also fluffed up the knap of the carpet... it looks new in spots. It's amazing!!!! I have since, purchased one for my son.

I am pleased with the performance of this vacuum. The only thing that displeased me is I paid full price for this vac and the very next day, it went on sale for $30 off. Sam’s would not refund the difference. I learned to late that I should have returned this one, then bought a new one at the sell price.

I been looking for a light weight good vacuum. I finally found it. I love this vacuum. Was easy to essemble. I love the retractable cord and its suction is amazing. I regularly swept and mopped my floors. I was surprised at how much dirt this thing sucked up. Well worth the price.

This vacuum is a good value for the price. I LOVE the retractable cord although it’s in a weird place so you have to hold the cord while you vacuum to keep it from getting tangled in the wheels. Kind of awkward. Also, it’s very loud. The wand is easy to use and I like that the attachments are on the machine for easy access. There are different height adjustments for hardwoods, carpet etc. They are a little annoying that you have to change it from hard wood to any height of rug. Lots of bending over with this unit. Overall, I’m glad I purchased it but I see some improvements in the design that could be improved on.

Owned several Bissells over the years. This one is the best so far. Love the self powered upholstery brush. Lightweight but solid. Easy to clean. I like the retractable cord. Always such a hassel to have to rewrap the cord every time. Totally worrh the cost.

I purchased this to replace a 3 y o Bissel that had stopped doing its job well. While this model was a minor downgrade the price it was being offered at was unbelievable ($69). This vacuum is picking up lots of dust that the other never did. I took off one star because the cord is just a bit shorter than my needs and because the vacuum is incredibly loud.

Product was priced right, however, i got what i paid for. Good suction power. Easy to clean, So, for what i need it for, not a bad product for the price. The handle is made of cheap plastic. The brush that comes with it is terrible. brittle/stiff brushes. when vacuuming kitty litter off floor, it shoots them across the floor. If the brushes were soft, that would not happen. I kept old brush from previous Bissell and tried to use that but fittings are different size. I don't like that i have to use a "foot pedal" to release the stand up lock. Perhaps i'm just used to the old one. Like i said... for what it's made for, cleaning, it's fine. wouldn't get same model again though.

Cons IMO: Vacuum is heavy. The attachments keep falling off where they are supposed to be kept. Vacuum will not lay flat down on floor when reaching under tables. The filter is annoying to clean. When vacuuming on lowest level on hard floor it pushes around, does not pick up, things like beads, beans, etc. Does not clean edges like against baseboards, dressers, etc. The roller picks up hair but the hair has to be cleaned from roller. Pros IMO: Cleans carpet, hard floors, etc well. The stair attachment works well in corners. The wand is easy to remove and reattach. The cord rewind works well.

Too heavy, difficult to push, it sucks up my area rug and the plug keeps falling out of the outlet (with slack in the cord). I love that Bissell donates to pet rescues, but this vacuum is getting returned.
