I bought this vaccum after having an upright Dyson for 10 years. I have two cats that shed a lot. My old vacuum seemed like it wasn't getting all the hair and debris up anymore dispute changing the filters. So I looked at getting the bissell since it said it could pick up pet hair and dander. I also didn't want to spend a lot of money on another Dyson. I brought this home and it was amazing at just how much hair, dust, dirt, sand, and dander it picked up. I had just vacuumed the day before bringing this home and when I used this bissell for the first time it picked up so much that was deep down in the carpet that I had to empty the dirt container 2 times for just a 20x12 room. I also love how it comes with the pet attachments that make vacuuming the pet tree a breeze. It also has a long extension handle to reach high places as well as getting pet hair off the steps. I am very happy with my purchase and was so pleased to see that Sam's had this vacuum on sale for $100. I couldn't be happier.

I love this vacuum. The suction is great for all the dog hair my 2 fur babies shed off. The self winding cord is a huge plus, no more running over the cord, or fighting with the cord as you vacuum. Just pull out what you need as you need it and with a click of a button with your foot it winds right back in. The one negative thing I have found is that the attachment pieces don’t hold in place well so they are constantly falling off as I vacuum. Other than that, this vacuum is a great purchase.

Great suction, hair doesn’t get wrapped around the roller , 2 of the tools keep falling off of their storage area but that’s no big deal. I thought my old vacuum was doing ok till I used this one it’s amazing how much dirt and hair it picks up. I have 5 large to XL breeds and this picks up all the hair no problem.

The vacuum is lighter than my old Shark Navigator, which makes me more inclined to use it for small jobs. It is great on my wood floors. Only complaints are that the tools fall off the holders too easily and that the rewind function is already malfunctioning.

This vacuum is a good value for the price. I LOVE the retractable cord although it’s in a weird place so you have to hold the cord while you vacuum to keep it from getting tangled in the wheels. Kind of awkward. Also, it’s very loud. The wand is easy to use and I like that the attachments are on the machine for easy access. There are different height adjustments for hardwoods, carpet etc. They are a little annoying that you have to change it from hard wood to any height of rug. Lots of bending over with this unit. Overall, I’m glad I purchased it but I see some improvements in the design that could be improved on.

Owned several Bissells over the years. This one is the best so far. Love the self powered upholstery brush. Lightweight but solid. Easy to clean. I like the retractable cord. Always such a hassel to have to rewrap the cord every time. Totally worrh the cost.

Overall it cleans well but the design has issues. The power step button is near the release and cord buttons. So it easy to turn it off if you are trying to release the button to start to vacuums. The hose has the extender on it so there is no way to get into tight areas because there is 2 feet of stiff plastic attached at the end. The hose accessories don’t stay on the vacuum nor the hose very well and during clean fall off. The base is bulky compared to other vacuums we’ve had and do not fit in the closet we’ve used before.

The positive: The vacuum picks up GSD fur well from my rugs and wood floors. But I haven't had the vacuum long so I don't know how well it will hold up. It is also quieter than vacuums I've had before. The negative: The attachments fall from their onboard holders when I'm using the vacuum so I no longer keep them on the machine. The hose is an awkward length for me which makes using the attachments awkward too. But the most disappointing part of this vacuum is that the retractable cord does not retract at all! And since there are no hooks to wrap the cord around, I end up looping and draping it around the handle which it usually slides from and sits on the floor.

Very, very basic vacuum. I needed something to get by with for the time being, really wished I would have saved my money. It does an ok job, have to manually adjust for floor/carpet type and even after changing the setting, it would often suck itself to the floor and become impossible to move. Very short power cord, constantly having to move cord to plug into different outlets. Tools won't stay on the vacuum, they randomly fall off.

Too heavy, difficult to push, it sucks up my area rug and the plug keeps falling out of the outlet (with slack in the cord). I love that Bissell donates to pet rescues, but this vacuum is getting returned.
