Braun OptiBrew 14 Cup Quick Drip Coffee Maker

This coffee pot is larger than other pots which makes it nice. But about a two months after getting it the coffee pot started making noise. It sounded like it was overflowing every time I made a pot of coffee. I tried putting the handle in different places and nothing helps. I am considering a different coffee maker.

this will only last a couple months and give out. it has great features, however, it doesnt last that long.

Delivery delayed. Instructions to set up did not work, clock won't work which means timing a morning brew won't work either. Not worth the price, don't recommend.

PROS: 
- Good tasting hot coffee.

CONS:
- Poor design of usability. Each time you turn on "Auto ON" it takes you back into time setting, even though you don't want to change it.
- Some buttons you hold for 3 seconds, some for 5 seconds. Very confusing.
- Having a difficult time getting it set up initially, I downloaded the manual for this model off the Braun website. Some of the functionality in this manual, "Auto On quick activation" didn't work as documented. After no answer on the phone, I contacted customer support via email. After back and forth for a week I was told not to use that manual and they sent me another. 
- This machine design is not ready for release. Buy this only if you have patience to work through the operation details, make notes, and keep them near the machine to refer to.  I came very close to returning it.

Braun OptiBrew KF5350BK Disappointment

I really appreciate all that controls being up top and on front in the many choices there are for different brewing.  It makes great coffee in a short amount of time.
This Braun is compact and looks great on the counter!
