I had been wanting one of these for a very long time and finally treated myself! It was delivered a day early, which caused minor problems as I had to have it put in the garage so my son could bring it inside the next day. He is 19 and was able to put one side onto a furniture dolly and wheel it right in. It comes fully assembled, so we basically removed all the packaging and plugged it right in. It heats our open living/dining area very well. You select a temperature setting and it has an auto function that works jsut like your thermostat. The cabinet is beautiful, and the fireplace insert is just stunning. I also love that you can use it without the heater on if you just want to add ambiance to the room. It has a remote control, and you can also download a phone app to control it. You can adjust the heat settings, change the flame color and brightness, and set a timer to turn it off automatically. It was packaged perfectly. If you get a damaged one, it is due to complete carelessness of the delivery person. I highly recommend this unit.

Arrived today. The door opening on the right is busted or not glued together properly. The door will not shut now. I bought this one because I thought it may be of better quality. No. I chatted with an associate about this. She couldn't help me and told me to call a "Member Mark Specialist". So I am starting to get the runaround. Meanwhile, I have a 180 pound fireplace/TV stand sitting in my living room that I am not impressed with. Do Not Recommend one bit.
