It dries perfectly. The lint filters are great too, preventing me from having to clean the drain filter every weekend like I used to have to do on the other brand I had. It’s stylish, nice looking, and it works perfectly every time. I almost gave up on the all in one combo units, but Samsung has done it right, and I am very happy with this one. I highly recommend buying this washer dryer combo!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is INCREDIBLE. Very efficient, ties in well to the SmartThings ecosystem, and is very good at giving a great clean. I was hesitant because I had seen issues with heat pump dryers leaving clothes damp, but there are no issues with this one! My clothes come out fresh each time! The 120v plug is a game changer, as is the no venting requirement. It is perfect for a retrofit from gas to electric without needing to run a 240v circuit. If I had to pick out any negatives for the product I would say the time it takes to do a load on AI efficiency mode might be an issue if there were a bunch of kids in our family, but I don't think that should be a showstopper for anyone. The only other complaint is the lint that likes to collect in the rubber seal on the door. A little bit of a pain to clean, but my suggestion to fix that is use a sock that is turned inside out to wipe it down.

Owned for 10 months. Three software updates. I like the All-in-One. We had an issue with letting clothes sour in the washer. With the all-in-one, that's never happened. Cons - 1) You need to clean the filter regularly, like a Roomba. Based on on-line reviews, that's the key issue to it failing. 2) It is large. I wanted a European-style compact, mini. But, I've gotten used to it. Pros - 1) You can start from dirty to clean & dry, without additional steps. Unless you want to add dryer sheets/balls. 2) I love how well the softener is added & the cycle options. 3) I didn't care for the 1st software update, but I like the most recent one (April/May 2025). It adds some helpful display options. 4) The large detergent containers are nice. 5) I wash my blacks on delicate & I really like the specialty detergent receptacle. I am actually back on the site to see if I could get a 2nd one, but I guess that's not an option.

We needed a ventless system because our current dryer vent would constantly get wet and was going to cost a small fortune to move the vent. This combo doesn't need vented, is used with a standard 110V outlet which saves money and because it's an all in one you don't even have to move from the washer to the dryer! We're a family of 5 and live on a small farm so we do 1 to 2 loads a day and we cloth diaper our infant. This thing handles it all just fine and a single load from start to finish averages 2.5 hours which is excellent. We have all Samsung appliances and they all link together from the app which is convenient too. This was our best appliance purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to get this washer for the savings on electricity and convenience of one unit that washes and dries. The dry cycle runs with a heat-pump. The heat-pump will heat the laundry and remove moisture from the clothes. The clothes do not get as hot and the air is not vented outside. The air has the moisture removed and is sent back in to the dry cycle. The first load of laundry was so quiet I had to check that it was still running. The unit is quiet by this new style of combo washer/dryer and it has Vibration Reduction Technology built in. There are so many features, you can tailor every load of laundry. It would be difficult to go back to our old washer and dryer. I appreciate that the SmartThings app let's us know when each cycle is complete and I can make adjustments to the cycles when you are away from the machine or on the go. The capacity fits our family of three perfectly with room to spare. The combination washer/dryer completes laundry tasks faster than a standard washer and dryer pair of appliances. They is no transfer time between appliances. The single unit goes from a wash cycle to a dry cycle, no more forgetting to transfer the laundry. It even has an interior light like an oven, you do not need to stop the appliance to see what is happening.

The latest software update makes it even cooler with Spotify and other apps built in. I’ve heard the lint is the number one cause for future damage so make sure you’re good about cleaning the filter after every use. Does a fantastic job with drying I’ve never had to re run the dryer.
