Efficient and no load transfer to dry. I was able to close off the dryer vent so there is less heat loss and no risk of lint fires. There is a likely a larger energy saving if I am using when my solar panels getting excess. I like the detergent reservoir. The lint filter to clean is a poor design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best laundry purchase of my life, best and we use it every single day all day and so far not an issue and best part is everything about it from always having clothes washed and dried and you never had to worry about forgetting to dry or stay up late nights to put clothes to dry and you can literally put it anywhere you want without having to worry about venting or gas hook up or even 220v, I would never go back to traditional washer/dryer, plus this has many features that are not advertised, you can mirror your phone to it and watch anything even netflix and YouTube and much much much more

I used to have a huge washer and dryer so I would do laundry about 3 x a week and save because I am doing fewer loads. This takes smaller loads (or else the time needed really goes up). I do need to figure out how to be able to stop in between the cycles so I can remove microfibers--just hasn't been such an issue that I have taken the time to look into it. And, the automatic detergent injection makes my clothes smell nice longer. I don't know how the engineers did it but the clothes are less wrinkled if I don't get to the right away--I love that.

I love that I can throw in a load of dirty laundry and it comes out washed and dried. You have the options to only wash, only dry, and several cycle types to choose from. I dont regret a thing!

I wanted to use the flex dispenser to have regular detergent and then a sensitive skin detergent, but you can only use the second dispenser on three very specific cycles instead of any cycles. This doesn't make any sense, let me use the detergent on whatever cycle I want. It's okay otherwise. Incredibly heavy and nearly impossible to move, it didn't fit in my old washer area so I had to turn it sideways so the doors could close as it blocks the other closet door, so it's now really awkward. Custom cycles aren't actually custom either. I cloth diaper (which is why I wanted the specialty detergent to use in the heavy duty cycle) and this has no cloth diaper wash setting (unlike the older maytag we had) and the "custom" cycles are just pre-picked things you can't really adjust much besides regular settings you can change on any of the normal cycles. I really wanted to like this washer combo unit, but it's just so frustrating and limiting compared to what it touts.

Great that once the wash is completed it rolls to dryer. And having it connected to Samsung Smartthings is great since it will pop up the alert on my phone and tv.

The space it saves by just being one unit and not needing a dryer vent really helped make my laundry closet feel bigger. The touchscreen is large and easy to use and read. This unit has a lot more settings than most would use or need, and I like that it gives you the option to simplify those choices in the app making only the cycles you need show. My favorite cycle currently is the Ai OptiWash and dry. I love that it will sense the loads weight and how dirty it is through a sensor. I used the bubble soak option on the load and felt it really helped loosen up some stubborn stains I would otherwise have to pretreat. The flex dispenser and main detergent dispenser are great. Easy to clean and fill and I love that it will dispense automatically from them if selected to do so. I really thought I would have been able to put my wife's detergent in one and mine in another. I tried and it would not let me use the flex dispenser without the main one on and if I chose to make the flex "special detergent", it only let me use it on certain special cycles like delicate. This is an impressive feature if you have need for a special detergent to use for those cycles. Upon unboxing there was an update so maybe this functionality could be added to a future update. Otherwise, it works very well, and my clothes always come out clean and dry. The dryer really impressed me. I wasn't sure how well it would dry or how warm it would be as I have never had a unit like this before. Every load I have done it has dried my clothes nice and warm to the touch. When using the Ai OptiWash and dry mode total time is around 3.5 hours. I found it to be pretty accurate. The superspeed cycle had it done in about 1.5 hours total time. I love that this unit has made laundry day a thing of the past. I just load up the washer with dirty clothes, select my mode/settings, and hit start before leaving for work. With the connected app I can monitor the status of the load and it alerts me if it detects a problem. It did just that when I tried to wash a comforter that was too big for it. It was a down comforter, and it didn’t want to drain and offset the spin cycle. The washer stopped and alerted me to the condition to protect itself. This unit is great, and I love the features, versatility, and performance it provides on a daily basis makes me incredibly happy. Simply Awesome!

It's quiet, obviously reduces space needed in the laundry which was a huge factor in me purchasing this unit. Having 2 front loaders in my laundry room was so overwhelming looking this single unit has brought about so many new design options for additional folding space etc in the room. The AI feature is probably my favorite. Items go straight from washer to dryer mode and I don't have to do anything. The biggest issue with AI is the fact you have to separate out the different fabrics. It auto opens the door so if you need to get clothes out before the dryer runs it allows you to do that and not allow damp clothes to sit there and smell. The app alerts are great so you don't even have to be in the house to know that the unit is done! I only gave it 4 stars and if I could do a 4.5 I would have! The time dry is a struggle. I have to run it on more dry twice in order for my clothes to be dry to my liking. I'm going to keep using it and seeing if it gets better as I play around with the settings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of I’d like to start with the delivery process, I was notified that the appliance was ready for delivery and a date had to be selected. My appliance was delivered in the date scheduled and at an early time which was perfect. The delivery men said it was a heavy machine but still took their time and installed it in my basement without any issues. All three delivery guys were profesional. Took them less than ten minutes to do the installation and the appliance was ready to use. The smart things app was easy to download and gives me ease of use while using the machine. I was able to view the washing and drying cycle while being out of the house. The capacity of the appliance is great, I’m able to put large comforters without any problems. It’s definitely not a small machine. The inside of the appliance is like other machines, but large. The display says it takes about two hours to wash and dry clothes all together. I put everything in the washer pressed the AI option of wash and dry and left. When I returned home everything was washed and dried. For the auto dispenser you just have to make sure you add detergent and fabric softener and you’re good to go. The auto dispenser holds enough detergent for a few loads. Lastly I’d like to say I am highly satisfied with my choice. I’ve only had the appliance for about a week now but so far all good.

No need for airvent for dryer. Which means it can be placed anywhere in the house with water and drain. 3. Big auto dispenser for liquiddetergent. Need to fill may be once a month only. 4. Care cycles shows up when needed. No need to remember when to run vlean cycles. 5. Much less space compare to separate washer and dryer. 6. Very quiet operation even at high spinning spoed. I like it enough to buytwo, one for my main house and one for my ADU.
