It does have a creamy texture and smooth consistency making it easy to spread and it melts rather smoothly. I feel like flavor wise it doesn't have as strong of a butter flavor as natural butter that depending on your taste preferences this may be appealing to you. The swirl on top was so pretty that I hesitated to dip my knife into it and ruin the design for the first time. Oh no! I would recommend this to a friend if you were looking for a butter alternative that is low in fats and oils.

we have been using this product *the original* for years and never thought about the packaging when I bought the latest tub. YUCK was the reaction I had when I put it on bread or crackers. Somethings different. Even smelled different. First i thought maybe, for some reason, had turned bad so I bought another. SAME flavor and smell. I will go back to using real butter. I think it's just awful now.

I loved the rich, creamy texture and the flavor was like butter. My guest never knew the difference from “real” butter. Great taste in a resealable tub. Definitely will rebuy.
