This butter substitute is far superior than any other spread on the market. I once had dinner with Stevie Wonder and placed this on one of his dinner rolls and HE NEVER KNEW THAT IT WAS NOT BUTTER. This is hands-down THE premier topping of potatoes, corn, bread, or pastries for nearly anyone in this great nation; that is a verifiable fact. However, there is on thing that you will not be able to verify: YOU CANNOT BELIEVE THAT IT'S NOT BUTTER!!!!!11!!!!!

Great Value and Taste!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time I used the plant-based butter. I loved that it doesn't contain cholesterol and hydrogenated oils yet provide enough of daily recommended of vitamins. I used it for all my cooking, baking, and spreading on my breads.

Great for cooking and baking

I'm disappointed in taste after original recipe changed. It is still not orinal flavor,  no matter what they say. Has TOO much oil. They has to be teying to teick consumers again by slowly making a change in flavor this time

Why have this available when the original was awesome and was all we purchased?  We only purchased this since the original was not in stock and thought it would be as good if not better.  We were wrong.  No flavor and will NEVER purchase again. Doesn't even taste like butter.  Very dissapointed.

I am SO sad they changed the "original" which now makes it NOT original. If you wanted to create something new, fine, but don't replace the original and call it original.  The new stuff is AWEFUL!  The actual original could pull off the title "I can't believe it's not butter" because it actually had a real buttery taste that was amazing on toast, in mashed potatoes, etc.  But this stuff??  I had guests over and had mashed potatoes and I was seriously embarrassed I served it!  I don't want to use real butter with all the saturated fat but I seriously can't stand this stuff and my family can tell the difference too.  PLEASE, just bring back the origianl and market the new stuff as a nutririch whatever line but don't REPLACE the original which now makes it in fact, NOT original so totally misleading!  I strongly dislike when companies have a product people like and then change it - why?? Seriously, after 4 decades, why mess with it?????

HORRIBLE NEW RECIPE

We have been using ICBINB for well over 20 years. The taste has changed slightly off and on over time, but it used to always be a solid go to and was reliable for cooking (replacing basic butter) for our needs. The change recently to a more creamy taste has been a huge change and we are going to look into other products.
It does not mix well, was un needed (have a "creamy" version in addition to "original" would have been great), and is very overwhelming a flavor. I'm sorry to say but this is horrible now and no one in our household wants to buy it anymore. Additionally we certainly do not recommend the new taste to any of our friends or family anymore.
The new design on the side of the containers are nice. That is all.

Changed to over buttery flavor

I have been buying this for so long and the change really disappointed me and my family. The taste is just not good . We had to throw it away as non of us cared for that new taste. Sorry but I just can't buy this anymore. Bring back the old one! I'm sorry can't rate this.
