I have IBS and had to use so much toilet paper daily that I was constantly left feeling sore. I had never used a bidet before and thought it was one of those things besides the toilet. I surprised to see you could buy a seat with an integrated bidet machine. I decided it was worth a try and boy am I ever happy I did ! I feel super clean each time, am not sore anymore and barely need any toilet paper ! Would never go back to life without a bidet, guaranteed !

Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. I did not expect to care much about the heated seat, but it wound up being one of my favorite features. Here are my minor complaints, with the understanding that I am still very happy with this purchase: water will splash up on the underside of the toilet seat and around the inside edge of the seat, so I have to wipe the seat and under the seat most times I use the bidet. The heated dryer is aimed more straight ahead than up, so it blows more on the opposite side of the bowl instead of on my bum. I usually skip the heated dry. The blue nightlight is VERY bright, and would blind me in the middle of the night, so I don't use that either. I really like the eco feature, but it will wait for the water to get cold, then heat it up again, then wait for full cold, so you never know if the water is going to be toasty hot or quite chilly on eco.

We bought a Brondell for our master bath and felt that it improved our quality of life, that we should spend the money to get them installed in our other bathrooms. I prefer having the controls on the side vs a remote control. The night light is a great feature too. Would recommend to everyone to go cleaner and greener with a toilet seat Brondell bidet.

We lived in Japan for three and a half years and every home and business has bidet's. We decided to purchase one when we moved back to the United States. While in Japan we researched bidet's and decided the Brondell Swash SE400 would work well for us. We ordered it just as soon as we moved into our new home. It is even better than the ones in Japan. We love it and don't understand why every home in America does not have one. The Swash SE400 has exceeded our expectations. And the installation was simple and easy. The only tool I used was a pair of channel locks but only because I want to be sure the hookups were snug (I probably did not need to). My wife is very happy. She loves the heated toilet seat. Also customer service was awesome. We are considering purchasing a RO under the sink water filter system from Brondell. Great company and great products.

Well worth the cost above Tushy and similar bidets considering the many functions and ability to tune them. Heated seat, warm water storage, fan, retracting sprayer... Just need to make sure you have a socket nearby to plug it into for installation. Nice not to have to run a water line off the sink at all. Even has a UV light! Only small wish might be that the UV light came on automatically when the seat detects weight. (As it does that anyway)

Installation was a little rough since we had trouble getting it to slide back into place on our toilet. Added an outlet next to the toilet. After that it was smooth sailing. The buttons are self explanatory and everything seems to work as it should. I can't imaging using the bidet on anything other than full power, and the left and right buttons don't seem to move the water stream very far in either direction. The heated seat feature seems to be too much for the summer, but should be really nice this winter. Also the "front" button does not really direct the water stream very far forward, as you might expect; but it does cause the water to be "shot" in two different directions, i.e., straight up, and toward the back. It doesn't take long to get used to how the item works, and I do use this product about once a day on average. The bidet seems to be well constructed, and I would purchase it again, and recommend it to a friend.

I have nothing to compare the Brondell to, this is my first bidet seat. It works well, except the dryer feature doesn’t really dry...I don’t use that feature much. I would have appreciated knowing that before purchasing. Could be they are all like that, I just don’t know.

I went in easy. I've had 3 other seats but this is the first one from Brondell. I think the warm water holding tank is too small. It doesn't last long when using it. Also I think I have a part missing from the nozzle area. I have to check the parts list to make sure. But I think it will be fine.

I initially thought I had a problem with placing my order, only because I never received an e mail confirming my order, there was no notification of it being processed or shipped. However it did arrive in a timely fashion. The 4.9 stars in the reviews is truth. Once I had it installed it's ease to operate and the thoroughness of cleaning is great. Glad I bought it>

I am never going back to toilet paper. The Swash provides a wonderful experience every time. Installation was stress-free, and the blue nightlife is a plus. If you are a big person, I do recommend getting a model with a detached remote instead of this model, as the SE400’s remote is attached to the side and can be covered up by large thighs. It’s not a problem for me, but it is for others in the household.
