Best streamer on the market. I've tried them all including the so-called GOAT Nividia shield. The apple 4k blows them all away. Roku, Fire stick or Cube, Chromecast 4K, or TIVO. NONE come close to how clean, quick, and efficient this device is. I don't know why I didn't buy an Apple 4K streamer or any Apple years ago. I'll never go back. This device is a no-brainer

The unit is more than just functional it has engineered elegance as do all Apple products. Compared to the roku 4K it is very heavy where the roku is light and cheap. The unit is fast and responsive when navigating the screens. Fast chip. The remote is solid aluminum and cold to the touch. Apple tv free for 3 months and Apple released a ton of content this year. Well worth the extra cost compared to fire, roku etc. And I am not an apple fanatic. Enjoy!

Having owned virtually all of the streaming devices on the market, this is by far the most dependable and responsive one available. The setup, and menu options are beautifully done and all executes flawlessly. Get the Ethernet version if possible as that will be your most stable connection. I have 3 of these on multiple devices now.

We purchase the Apple TV for our new screen TV as recommended to us. Easy to use and made a difference in the picture. Small and easy to store, you differentially will not be disappointed. Be aware you must update apps you use at first repeatedly

Already in the Apple ecosystem and my 4 yr old Roku TV is getting very slow. This is my 2nd Apple TV as my old one is limited to 1080p and is in a bedroom. This one is very fast, easily setup and doesn’t have to reload streaming apps as you change between them. Remote is light years ahead of the old touch remote. (I still like the Roku remote more) It’s definitely worth the price and should last many years. My old one is 5 yrs and is still fast. Extras like built in FaceTime, photos, fitness and Apple Music all sweetens the deal.

If you already have an iPhone or iPad then you can use either one to easily and quickly set up your new Apple TV. The interface seems to be so much more snappier due the the A15 updated chip. And I love the 128 GB storage on this one, double the amount on my older model which still works and has been moved to my kitchen television. I know some will think that I’m being petty but I took one star off because of the remote. They changed the way that you recharge the remote on this new unit. My older unit’s remote charged via the USB to lighting cable which was INCLUDED with it. This new unit’s remote charges using a USB to USB-C cable NOT included. I looked at the manual inside and it said NOT included. So now I am having to go out later and buy this cable because I don’t have one just lying in a drawer somewhere. Fortunately the remote comes already charged up so I am able to use it right out of the box but eventually you’ll need to charge that remote or use your iPhone as a remote. I just thought I would warn everyone now before your remote dies while in the middle of a movie. For the amount that I spent I think Apple could include a simple cheap charging cable that is different from what they have included with previous models. With that being said, I am NOT sorry that I made this purchase.

I have tried many, including the latest, Amazon Fire TV, many and the newest Roku, and by no means, do they even match or come close to the Apple TV 4K. The Apple TV 4K is hands-down, the best of all streaming devices that you can attach to a television. It’s very responsive and very versatile. The only thing missing is a browser to surf the Internet.

More expensive than the various Roku/Fire sticks. My Roku stick started having issues with AirPlay and certain apps started to have buffering issues. Final straw was Roku increasing the number of ads. The Apple TV is just a great experience. Other than the Roku channel, it has all the apps/channels that my Roku had. Due to the amount I use my TV for Apple Fitness, that alone was worth the price. The interface is easy enough to use. If you have modest requirements for your streaming stick, then probably should stick with the $30 Roku and Fire sticks. While I can see using the Apple TV without any Apple devices, I wouldn't suggest that either.

one would expect a delivery to be delivered, not thrown or left in front an address for anyone literally on the street to just grab it ans walk away with an item i was billed 147.00 dollars for. why did i cancel membership with walmart plus? you cant be trusted to simply "deliver" something smaller than a brick.

I switched from a Firestick 4K Max to an Apple TV and there’s no comparison , especially if you’re used to the Apple iOS type interface. The first thing I noticed was a marked improvement in audio and video quality. It integrates seamlessly with our iPhones and iPads , the remote is extremely well built and navigation is very quick and responsive. While this is certainly more expensive than the Firestick, it’s well-worth it in my opinion. I ordered a second for another TV in our house that had a Firestick.
