It’s a pretty good product for a streamer. The only one con that I can have about. It is the Apple Arcade totally weak. Don’t expect PlayStation type games not present here but overall I do like it. I have Apple ecosystem throughout the house, so I’m cool with it. I gave it a four because of the arcade.

Replaced my older 64GB model because it would quit playing visual YouTube channels after 10 minutes. Sound was OK, but with a blank screen. Other functions were fine with the unit. The new Apple TV has more storage available and a nicer remote. The “puck” is much lighter than my 64GB model, making it easier to slide off my TV console.

It’s light years ahead of the first version that I still have and use in another room. As you would expect it’s fast and has Frndly TV app available, which I watch most of the time. Tried others but only Apple TV seems like a real TV streamer. It’s solid and will sync up with other units if you have others. The best part? The redesigned remote. I despise the original and my wife used to complain about it and until I started using it myself I didn’t understand her frustration. The mute button on this remote is so handy and the controls are so much better. It also charges with usb-c. A newer model may come out later this year is the rumor, seems like their releases of this are very slow but honestly this is good just the way it is. Got a nice drop proof impact absorbing case to put around it and it’s good to go, without it, the remote is easy to drop.

Already in the Apple ecosystem and my 4 yr old Roku TV is getting very slow. This is my 2nd Apple TV as my old one is limited to 1080p and is in a bedroom. This one is very fast, easily setup and doesn’t have to reload streaming apps as you change between them. Remote is light years ahead of the old touch remote. (I still like the Roku remote more) It’s definitely worth the price and should last many years. My old one is 5 yrs and is still fast. Extras like built in FaceTime, photos, fitness and Apple Music all sweetens the deal.

There are eleven in our family so price is always a priority but you can only play so many board games b4 u need options! Works great on starlink. Learning curve moderate for 50yoa, not rocket science but at least being familiar wi cell phone, email and code scanner at least. So it’s OK for value, I did purchase another.

I have been an ardent Roku ultra fan for years. Still believe it is the best entry level streaming device with the various offering. That said Apple 4k is the best streaming device by far -- and by an even bigger margin if you are in the Apple ecosystem. Super responsive, familiar interface. You need to watch a few tutorial videos to understand how to use remote and all features. Just very happy so far with the device.

I have tried many, including the latest, Amazon Fire TV, many and the newest Roku, and by no means, do they even match or come close to the Apple TV 4K. The Apple TV 4K is hands-down, the best of all streaming devices that you can attach to a television. It’s very responsive and very versatile. The only thing missing is a browser to surf the Internet.

Highly unreliable. The, "fix" for many problems is to uninstall and reinstall. Does not come with everything needed to set up. The remote has 0 indicators on it. Often need to reset the device by unplugging it as, "clearing cache" through the software does not work. It really is an unrefined piece of tech for what you pay for. I am literally using it to stream or display an ipad. Also, you MUST have an apple device to set it up, like the rest of the crapple eco"system"

Love it. Has Paramount Plus and Disney and Netflix,Prime, Pluto and more even can have cable tv. Has Smart home features that you can set up in Apple home app which are cool like asking Siri to turn on tv or scheduling times for tv to come on or etc. It comes with 4k HDR which is amazing looks good and sounds great with Dolby Vision Surround Sound.
