We have been so pleased with this device that we stream it on all of our tv’s even the ones that technically don’t have to have it because of it’s uncomplicated and like to have them all the same. Works well and really easy to setup if you’re an Apple user already.

I currently own two older versions of Apple TV. One is the HD (2nd version), the other is 3rd generation UHD 4K. (The first release of gen 3) The version available now is definitely worth the look. I have an OLED tv and I noticed an immediate improvement in picture quality. And, the apps respond better. It just seems faster and a little smoother. If you’ve got an earlier version, try the new one!😎

I have and android phone and tablet and a windows pc, but this is far and away the best tv streamer. There are a few little frustrations if you dont have an iphone or ipad, but most can be worked around. if you have an iphone or ipad i think this is a must have for your main tv even if it is smart tv or you have a roku or fire stick already this just blows them out of the water.

Gave new life to my lagging lg magic remote for B7 oled tv. Replaced it with this and no more lag. Bonus is Apple interface instead of LG interface. Only need magic remote now to switch to play video games else remote not needed. I do not like that the Apple Remote randomly connect and disconnects while watching tv. This is a known issue and not problematic except I see message. That message does appear more often as battery get weaker. Also once in while remote loses volume up down capability which is also a known issue but easily fixable by pushing two buttons on remote and again more often as battery weakens. Better charge makes all work better. I am guessing that both issues are Bluetooth related.

I know a lot of people say this unit is expensive compared to the competition, but if you happen to be in the Apple ecosystem, the new operating system makes it worth the money to create a truly smart TV that works with all your other Apple devices. The new features definitely make it worth purchasing

Having owned virtually all of the streaming devices on the market, this is by far the most dependable and responsive one available. The setup, and menu options are beautifully done and all executes flawlessly. Get the Ethernet version if possible as that will be your most stable connection. I have 3 of these on multiple devices now.

I bought into Apple’s ecosystem and for the most part things work great for me, so it was a no brainer to upgrade from an old Apple TV to an Apple TV 4K when I finally purchased a 4K TV. The TV came with an Apple TV app (along with many other streaming services apps); However, the interface on the TV was severely lacking compared to the Apple TV. It’s also nice to easily control it using my iPhone or Apple Watch. It also connects with HomeKit devices to act as a hub for other smart devices.

Wish I had got this a long time ago! It’s an Apple so it’s the best! I had Roku which is much cheaper and you get what you pay for. Now I can watch my huge Apple collection of tv programs and movies I have collected over the years. Just pull the trigger and get one. It lives up to being an Apple product.

My roommate has an older Apple TV we have been using in the mean time and thought it was time to get my own. Apple has always had quality products so was okay spending the extra money compared to a new Roku. Works smoothly and everything, no complaints.
