Drive Medical Depot Bamboozled Me. I want my $back

I’m really upset about this product. I just had a hip replacement surgery on Jan. 9,2020 and want to take a shower but all the parts didn’t come in shipping package and now I can’t use it. It’s missing all 4 legs that should’ve been shipped with it. The pictures are of what was in the shipping container.

Looks great but water get all over the floor HELP

I purchased the transfer seat bench for my mother in law and she is scared to death to use it as water gets all over the floor. She broke her femur via a slip and fall a few years back and freaked out when she saw how much water was on the floor. - What could be worse falling in the tub and on the slick floor after getting out of the shower.

Came in handy while leg in a cast!

If you need a transfer bench, this is the one to get! The gray color is preferable to white, it just looks fresh so much longer. It was easy to put this together. After my husband's leg surgery, he had to keep his right leg (in a cast) dry, so he couldn't use the shower. This bench was the answer. It was to easy to put over the side of the tub, for him to safely slide from the bathroom rug area to the inside of the tub without any issues, then take a bath with the handheld shower attachment without worrying about the bench sliding around.

Not compatible with Garden Tub

nice tub shower transfer if you don't have a garden tub. Not made for a garden tub, definitely for a square tub. I searched all over this site to see if this transfer bench was compatible with our tub. no where did it say not for garden tubs. it should say it saves frustration.

A bath and shower answer!

This transfer bench was not difficult to assemble to your needs. It is a great answer to bathing - way ahead of a "sponge bath" - the only alternative for many who otherwise have difficulty in bathing. Its a real problem solver. It only needs a way to stop water getting on the floor when you shower. With a bath, no problem.

Very Sturdy

Seems very sturdy and has been exactly what we were looking for. My husband is 6'2" and 240 lbs and hurt his knee and the other knee was already hurting, so he basically just falls down on the seat - the suction feet in the tub hold it in place - he doesn't worry about falling. Had a little trouble putting it together because one of the places for the handle was not round and therefore the handle wouldn't insert, but my father was able to round it out with a crowbar so it finally worked. The only complaint I have is that we need to take it out of the tub for when our children are bathing and it seems to hold water in the legs somewhere that always drips out when moving it.

Strong and strudy but to large for my bathroom

I had to return this item. It was very strudy and strong. But was way to large for my tub and bathroom. The outside part almost hit my toliet so it was to hard to get in tub or store and use the toliet. In a large bathroom it would be a perfect fit.

This is the one

I had ordered and more expensive Carex bench for grandmaw after breaking hip. It was padded and after arriving I knew it was a bad choice thinking of hygiene. I returned it and ordered the Drive bench. The Drive bench was more sturdy holding up to 400 lbs. it was easy to put together and is made of blow mold plastic. I HIGHLY RECOMEND this bench. Grandmaw has used it since she has been home and this is the only way going forward she will take a shower. If your reading this and researching these transfer seats, go ahead and get it...

Shower Bench

This bench is very sturdy - it feels so much safer for my mom than the one she used to have. It was easy to put together if you read the directions first and lay everything out so you can see all of the parts in one place. It's also a nice gray color, a great change from the usual white equipment. Thanks Drive Medical for this great bench!

Great product, great price!

My mother had a hip replacement, and I was told that she would need this product. As her pt person was there to check it out, and was pleasantly surprised when he remarked on the quality of the product. Also when I told him how much the product cost, he was that he has seen chairs like this one selling for $100.00 or more. Adding that he would inform his clients about this product from Walmart. Thanks Walmart.
