Works GREAT

The shower/tub bench was for my father, to replace his old one. This one is so much better because it is grey instead of white and I love the suction cups on the legs which are wonderful plus you have more extension with the legs than his previous one.

Safe, sturdy and very affordable!

I purchased this item to help my mother, she fell and broke her hip this year. I love the quality construction/larger suction cup rubber based legs. She uses it very often and could not shower without this product. I highly recommend it and searched many of these until I found this particular one. A local medical supply company wanted over $100 for a product similar in design/function. Trust me when I say you'll be happy with this!

Good with suggestions

Nice, supportive and sturdy. Basically, a good product, however, do NOT use in a small bathroom because it takes up a lot of space., especially when the tub and toilet are next to each other. Also, it can not be stored in a regular size tub because of how the legs fit wide, too wide to store in tub. Not okay/good for ”limited space”bathrooms or stand-alone showers. To the maker: recommend that you make a smaller version /size that is less bulky and a size that can be used for kids and does not take up a lot of room / storage space........maybe vulnerable (or...walkers).

Hanging out..!

The Rating of this shower bench is going to be a little mixed. No where in the pictures of it nor the description does it tell you that IF you have a contoured tub, then the inside bench legs will NOT go all the way to the inside tub edge, therefore you will be hanging out of the tub area thus causing a huge wet mess because the shower curtain just won't go all the way around you. On the other hand, the bench itself is great. Quick to put together and/or change the adjustments. It is really really sturdy as advertised. Really not a bad purchase if you're in need of this device..!

Good but...

This is a well build transfer bench for the bathtub. I should have read the review better because when I received the item it was larger that I expected. Because of the size, it barely fit into our bathtub. Our bathroom is very small (1 bedroom high rise apartment) so we will not be able to use the item. Best advice is to read review so that you don't end up with a surprise like I did.

Drive tub transfer bench

Local medical supply store was selling this exact item for $199. The tub transfer bench works perfectly if you have joint and balance issues. It's easy to assemble and the price was great. I feel so much safer with this bench than just a shower chair. It has turned out to be a lifesaver for me.

Great bench!

This tub transfer bench is such a help after leg surgery. The extra length is wonderful for sliding in and out of the shower more easily, and for keeping water in the tub, not on the floor. I wrapped the shower curtain around one side as another reviewer suggested. The bench is sturdy and and roomy.

Drive Medical PlasticTub Transfer Bench

we do not need the backrest so we did not install it... it makes it a lot easier for my husband to get into the bathroom where he can get a bath... he has had bed baths for almost five months so we are so pleased that he can finally get a good bath! The bench is very sturdy and even though it takes up a lot of room in our small bathroom it is what we need for my husband.

Stable

I got this unit for my aging mother and am happy so far. Assembly was fairly simple and the suction feet in the tub are like glue, which is what I wanted. Very light and easy to move. I think that the price is a bit high, but it was the best I could find.

Easy assembly and very stable seat.

My 95 year old mother is using this bench very effectively to help her moove in and out of the tub from the bathroom. I had read some concerns about difficulty disassembly, but did not find any problem. Cost was well below other models. Excellent value.
