Something must be wrong somewhere! I had a Brother 3-in-1 Printer-scanner-copier machine and faced similar issues with tonner not printing. Now 2nd printer same issue. What is up with this? I have tracked my printing and have issues. Seems like we are paying for less tonner in unit or the gauge is off on printers?

Very satisfied with the quality of Brother's high-yield toner cartridge. I maximized yield by changing the default settings to draft and to conserve toner. So far, I've printed about 3400 pages and still have 10% of the toner left. So everyone: change your settings to conserve toner and print draft copies (which still look perfect to me).

we Purchased MFC-L2710DW in May I did not use it a lot and max 100 pages to print and ink is low now and I cant print anything until I replace the cartridge Lets hope TN 760 will last for 3000 pages Also , should not I get friendly message /reminder that ink is low like it is on HP printers This one just abruptly stopped printing in the meddle of printing job due to low ink

Switched from a HP inkjet color printer to a Brother black and white laser printer hoping to save money on ink. That's not happening. The stated yield on the Brother toner cartridge is aprox. 3000 pages. I have printed less than 400 pages of simple text and am being told to replace toner.

I see several remarks regarding how many pages a toner is lasting. Clearly it states around 3,000 for the TN760. I don’t have time to worry about an exact number printed but I do know that with the many companies out there trying to sell the product or refill bottle that is overwhelming. I just stick to you get what you pay for. I want my machine to keep preforming at its best so I will stick to paying for the real toner. Thank you

I have a small tax firm. We go through rouchly 4 cases of page per tax season now. We've used several different modles of printers but because we've gone 3/4 paperless, we switched to an all in one Brother. HUGE MISTAKE. We've spent more in 2 years with this printer than we did in the previous 5 years with my ancient Canon. Like another review asked, anyone want to buy a printer? I'm switching back. Can you give less than 1 star?

I printed.. maybe 300 black and white power point pages in the last 2 weeks. Just installed my brand new printer. Already need to replace my toner. Pretty incredible. This feels intentional - like deliberate obsolenence to cost your customers money, if not, this is borderline defective. I have a home office stipend I used to buy this printer, I have to talk to my company about getting a new printer from one of your competitors.

I've tried all the knockoffs. Nothing beats the real thing. Knockoffs may be less expensive but you get what you pay for. Brother cartridges produce crisp. printing. I've earned my lesson and want buy anything other than Brother genuine toner cartridges.

i love my 'brother' printers/copiers/ etc and only use their brand for my toner cartridges. i do not know if there even is an 'after market' cartridge available, so i have cannot compare. so far, many many years, i have never had a problem with their products.

These replacement ink cartridges are fine. I'd say they're moderately easy to install, once you realize which door on your machine to open. I like them because I'm an average user of my home copying machine. I neither run a business from home, nor am I a luddite. Like may people, I simply need "one-off" photocopies from time to time. In addition, there are between two and four times a year when I need many copies all at once. As an amateur musician, I'd say three to four times in a year, I need to photocopy and print significant amounts of sheet music (yes, I pay the copyright holder). And let's not forget the copies needed at tax time. The thing about these cartridges is that they contain a great deal of ink. Despite my "heavy use three or four times a year, I generally have to replace the cartridge only once a year at most. They never last for two years, so I'd say the average is about a replacement cartridge every 15-18 months. They are always at the ready, even after a long period of no photocopying at all, the very first page printed is a good as any of the pages throughout the run. That's a type of technical feat that had to be difficult for the engineers and scientists at Brother to figure out, and for which I'm very grateful, as the casual user of printing services in-home.
