the dishwasher stops opening. the automatic cycle will turn off the dishwasher after about 15 minutes. i have already had it repaired twice and the problems just come back. i love the samsung phones but i will never buy another samsung appliance. they are garbage.

This terrible washer came with a home I purchased. After thinking it was my imagination or that I was not pre-soaking/pre-cleaning well enough, I did a test - I put Yogurt in a glass on the second rack, yogurt in a bowl on the first rack. After running on normal/sanitize settings, the yogurt was virtually untouched. I then sprayed the yogurt out with my sink sprayer in a matter of seconds. Really not sure what this machine is doing when I hear water sloshing around for 3 hours - its definitely not cleaning.

We selected Samsung's Linear wash dishwasher because it had a lot going for it between features and positive reviews and now having lived with it for three months and the myriad conditions that quarantine-life with two small kids could throw at it, this dishwasher has stood tall and delivered! No spots on anything from any cycle, a 1 hour speed cycle that actually accomplishes the task when more than half-full, cleaned items are pretty well dry at the end of each cycle AND it can provide alerts through the Samsung Smart Things app- we're getting our money's worth!

I bugged my wife for almost a year to replace it with the Samsung Linear she finally agreed after having to wash the dishes after running the dishwasher. The Samsung is so quiet and actually washes the dishes; what a novel concept.

I bought this a year ago, took them 10 months to deliver and it showed up DESTROYED now my replacement dishwasher isn't working and turns out that when Samsung installed it, they broke the drain hose and are REFUSING to do anything about it "not covered under their warranty" BUT THEY BROKE IT WHEN THEY INSTALLED IT! Waited a year for the absolute WORST customer service and a useless overpriced dishwasher. They also lost my stove during all of this and took 10 months to deliver that as well.

The loudest part of the cleaning cycle is when it drains into the disposal. It is so quiet it is hard to believe it is working. I was skeptical about the door opening at the end to help dry, but everything comes out with no moisture at all (except plastic containers if the held standing water) and very clean with no debris or streaks.

But it is very very quiet. I think we, regrettably, picked this because of the Tuscan color. Poor decision on our end. But it does look good.

My only complaint is that the front seems to be slightly higher than the back so the two top drawers slowly close themselves. That is annoying when you are trying to load them. We had the company that installed it return and they said it was the way it was built.It cleans well and it is much quieter than our old one.
