i love this dishwasher because it is super quiet and love the black stainless steel no fingerprint feature as well. unfortunately, it is chipping at the control section. this dishwasher is wiped down only with a small amount of soap and water using a microfiber cloth. it's sad that it's only a year old and this is happening to it.

It was still all wrapped up and went to install it and there is a huge dent in the front. This was done at the factory and packaged this way, very disappointed in quality control. Our new fridge was damaged too! Here I have paid for appliances I can’t use.

Had Samsung come out and snapped it back in place in ten seconds. No charge. Quietest dishwasher I have ever owned.

After 1 year it has to be started twice to properly Drain and fill. It seems the sensors indicating the water has been drained do not work. I am going to have to have service come for the second time in a year to fix this relatively new appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a lifelong practicioner of dishwashing by hand, I was apprehensive about purchasing a top-of-the-line model, but after viewing the Samsung Smart Dishwasher in person and being impressed with the ingenious addition of a silverware rack, I figured this new appliance may be worthwhile after all. Although I’d strictly used dishwashers for large family events or holidays in the past, the bevy of features made this model quite appealing. A couple wash cycles later and I’ve become not only comfortable but quite pleased with using this Samsung Smart Dishwasher, not only are the beeps and bloops it plays absolutely pleasant to the ear, but It also washes and dries our dishes far more efficiently and quietly than any dishwasher I’ve ever used previously. Sincerely, a former handwasher who’s fully converted to the joys of utilizing a dishwasher.

This dishwasher cleans so much better than my old whirlpool which I thought was good. I can hardly hear it running. Inside racks are thoughfully laid out. Linear wash works great, no dishes missed or have any residue.

I had to call him over to ask if the thing was working cause it is so quiet lol. We've owned a samsung dishwasher previously, but nowhere near as quiet as the DW80R9950 washer. This wash consists of basic cleaning with minimal hardened food left on dishes. I only used the main two racks and put the silverware in the bottom rack holders. Everything fits so well and easily, and there is also a space for pots or pans to fit in without difficulty. We always do the quick wash setting unless there is extra dirty dishes that need attention. One thing that threw us off a little bit was how the dishwasher opens the door a few minutes prior to completion. That is a designed feature to assist with drying. I did all the programming directly on the washer, whereas my husband likes to use the smart things app. If I did not mention prior, the fingerprint resistance is a big plus! And lastly, the chime reminder at the end of the wash cycle is perfect to assist in notifying that things are complete. All in all, I would definitely recommend this dishwasher.

We've had many other dishwashers with some costing more than twice as much as our Samsung dishwasher. However, none of those performed as well, offered as many options, or cleaned our dishes perfectly each time - streak free! Plus, this dishwasher operates so quietly that we find ourselves questioning whether we started the cycle! I am very, very happy with our choice!

The linear wash system provides very good cleaning efficiency and the results are to be experienced. This coupled with the zone and speed booster helps with our typical greasy and sticky pans. The sanitizer mode will be of importance for families with infants and kids at home. The half load option (lower rack only) and Express Cycle – this solved the dilemma of procrastination of using the dishwasher v. doing the quick pans on you own. The express cycle is a very good features for small families. In addition to these it offers 7 different wash cycles and 8 options for your varied needs. The first load that we put this dishwasher to action, was a surprise to us. As we put the wash cycle into motion there was no audible kick start and the entire cycle was real quiet, to the extent we had to put our ears to the door to confirm that it was working. This singular quiet feature made us fall in love with it with this dishwasher Other noteworthy features like the adjustable tines for the odd shaped ones, auto release door for better drying efficiencies especially for plastic ware will be of interest to many differing users. The one I really like is the fingerprint resistant Overall, it’s a great choice of top panel in a dishwasher. This one makes your decision easier, quietly!

It’s only been in the house for 7 months and I have a service call in for it. When it works it’s whisper quite. The other issue I have is with the drying process, I often have to pull the dishes out and hand dry them. And the last issue I have is being able to connect this to wifi. For the reasons above I cannot recommend this product.
