The chimes are a little spooky at first because you don’t know where they’re coming from. We have had an electrical issue though within our first few months, but it was repaired and we will see how long it will last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced an older loud dishwasher. This one you can't even hear. I have an open floor plan so any noise is distracting. This dishwasher can't even be heard. The drying of the dishes could be better but overall great dishwasher.

I cannot say anything about reliability yet, but I can say that it works really well. Clean dishes all the time and incredibly silent. I almost cannot tell it is running. Time will tell, but so far, I am very happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Samsung 39dba Smart Dishwasher 3 weeks ago and I love it! It’s so quiet that I can’t even tell if it’s running. It’s got a third rack and even though the outside dimensions are the same as my old dishwasher the new dishwasher holds more dishs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this dishwasher for a few months now and it is SO quiet, I LOVE it! my only issue is that the 3rd rack prongs easily break and we have lost a few for unknown reasons (see photo), which is disappointing but it hasn't affected the use of the dishwasher itself'

i live in a small place, 1000 sq ft. and i generally don't have a lot of noise on in the house, tv, radio, etc... when i first got it the only noise i can hear is when it occasionally switches modes during wash cycle. that is it, so super quiet even when i am reading a book you literally cannot hear it. i also tried to load dishes with food that had dried, different types of plates with grooves, etc...and it cleans everything so far very very well. the connected app is also surprisingly useful. since it is so quiet i sometimes forget that i turned it on but my phone will remind me when it is done washing and its time to unload it. touch panel is responsive and works great... overall excellent dishwasher!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is just absolutely fantastic, it is so quiet. Love the adjustable shelves and the vent to dry is awesome. Dishes are always clean and dry now. Plus we san watch TV while it is going and not hear it running. Smart Control is very cool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a big upgrade over our existing noisy washer. We have to check to make sure its working its that silent. So far it has been good and has washed dishes thoroughly. It took us some time to figure out the delivery logistics, we are in MA and purchased the installation, rest be assured, XPO takes care of the logistics to find and provide a licensed plumber

Bought this a few months ago (maybe 6) and I’m already having problems. The cleaning arm that water comes out of came off. I put it back on but it has come out again so I’ll need to call it in to get service. I love Samsung but this dishwasher is not well made. I wish I’d believed the negative comments I read before spending so much on this. It is quiet and washes well but if a main part is already falling off then I can’t imagine the rest of it will last. Such a disappointment

this is a great dishwasher! the customers who are having issues did not install thier dishwasher correctly. all you need to do is make sure you install the drain hose directly to the garbage disposal or your air gap device, its very easy trust me! don’t let the one star reviews deter you from buying this dishwasher.
