[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the dishwasher a little while back and have only a small complaint, other than that everything is awesome. The sight problem is that the racks really aren’t build for tall plates, as you will learn you have to lean them in order for the dishwashers lower sprayer to not hit to top of them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent cleaning dishwasher. The "linear wash" feature appears to work just fine. I wasn't sure if it was an innovation or a gimmick, and honestly I still don't know. But it does work at least as good as a normal spinning arm. Everything comes out clean and spotless. The feature where the dishwasher opens after finishing the cycle does appear to help with eliminating damp dishes. The best feature of this dishwasher (besides the appearance) is it is very, very quiet. I have had Bosch, Asko, and Kitchen Aid dishwasher and thought they were all nice and quiet. But this one is virtually silent. Even on the drain cycle it is super quiet. The only noise is sometimes it makes a random hissing noise from the vents at the top, I'm not sure why. It may have something to do with how I have loaded the dishwasher. My one ding on this dishwasher is the tines that separate the dishes aren't the strongest or the best layout. The tines themselves bend fairly easily or they come out of the plastic locks that hold them in place. Compared to Asko dishwashers which use very strong metal tines, these are much more flimsy. But even compared to Kitchen Aid or Bosch they also appear to be weaker and not as well laid out for holding different size glasses and plates. I bought this dishwasher in the Fingerprint Resistant Tuscan Stainless Steel to match my existing Tuscan Stainless oven and fridge. I should mention that there is a very small difference (barely perceptible) between the normal Tuscan Stainless and the Fingerprint Resistance Tuscan Stainless. I think the fingerprint resistant finish is great for keeping a clean look, but is slightly more muted in color.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I may be easy to impress being that my most recent dishwasher was circa 1965 (yes really having moved into a fixer upper) however I did have a good dishwasher before moving so yes, I can fairly compare. I have zero complaints about this dishwasher. It’s quiet, it’s easy to load, it CLEANS well. My dishes come out clean, smooth, and free of any residue. And did I mention it’s quiet? As previously stated, my most recent dishwasher was from the 1960’s (totally retro) and it actually did work, however it sounded like a jet airplane taking off! I would have to turn up the TV in the next room when that clunker was running. With this dishwasher, I literally heard nothing. I could only tell it was on from the small glowing light. Also totally worth mentioning is loading this is a breeze. It’s actually designed to hold dishes, pans, glasses, etc. And I love the third rack which is great for serving utensils; can covers, and other flat items. I enthusiastically recommend this dishwasher!

in 2018, we remodeled our kitchen/laundry. we bought all samsung appliances. we were pleased with the features, but the quality, warranty, and repair process has been horrible. within 6 months, our dishwasher broke. after multiple expense appointments, samsung said the tub cracked, they blamed the retailer, and the retailer accused samsung. no one helped us, and we had to purchase a new one. next, our wash machine stopped working and the quote to fix it cost more than a new one. again, bought a new one. on christmas eve 2020, our oven wouldn't heat. it took a week to have our 1st appointment. it's jan. 28, and we're on our 4th appointment, and it's still broken. 1/23/21 our refrigerator/freezer completely stopped working – still waiting for an appointment. don’t purchase samsung.

It does a great job cleaning dishes. The smart feature sometimes don't connect automatically so I would have to reconnect it a couple times before it works. Overall great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start off by saying wow, i can’t tell the dishwasher is even running. This is the quietest dishwasher i have seen our old one was so noisy. This dishwasher is stylish, modern and so easy to use. The different washing options come in handy if you want to wash cups only you can this dishwasher has that option. It also has a feature which the door pops open to let the steam out. This is a game changer in my opinion we can’t say enough good things about this dishwasher.

we are remodeling our kitchen and bought all new appliances. love my samsung range and refrigerator how ever i do not care for dishwasher. i have to hand dry all my dishes even hours after cycle is done. what does dry the water spots are horrible. yes i have rinse aid in it and i have tried everything. i miss my bosch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new Samsung Dishwasher is beyond awesome. It has a sleek design so it looks great and it is as quiet as a whisper so it sounds great too. The overall design is one that is built to last with a stainless steel tub. It has more jets which equals more cleaning power, and there is a third rack for sliverware which I find very convenient. The second rack is adjustable which is completely necessary when entertaining because when adjusted into the down position you can fit cutting boards and serving platters. Unlike other dishwashers, the buttons are super sensitive so I don't find myself jamming them down or pressing extra hard to operate the machine. I cannot say enough about this dishwasher. We replaced another dishwasher that was a little over a year old which is living large for us and I cannot say I am regretting our decision one bit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best dishwasher ever! We have the dishwasher for couple of months now, but all I can say is WOW! Best dishwasher I have ever seen/ had! My husband did the research, and came to conclusion, that this model should suit best our needs and budget. I went along with the choice and was curious how would the product behave and how would be it's performance. I approached the new appliance with caution, but open mind. However, after first few uses, I was blown away with it's performance. Amazing! My husband was looking for a quiet machine. First time we turned it on, I had to double check I actually turned it on, because it was so quiet. The design of the appliance is great, stainless steel in and out looks great. Touch buttons are an excellent feature, they don't collect any residual dirt. Keeping the dishwasher clean and neat is a matter of a quick wipe over. Sensors will always let you know when it's time to perform a self clean, or if your jet dry is running low. The inside space is great for pots and pans. I didn't care much for the top third rack designed for cutlery; I prefer to use the baskets. However, I still use the top rack, occasionally, for lids, some kids' toys, or other small things. I like the wash cycle options, they are great. What made me absolutely love this dishwasher was a fact that it made my tea cup spotless! I'm a tea drinker, all day long. Used one mug for a whole day, then put it in the dishwasher without rinsing, or scrubbing off the tea stains first. Never ever in my life have I seen a dishwasher wash the mug spotless! This machine did it! It truly works great! My husband said that some people were complaining in the reviews, that this appliance doesn't have the drying function. I didn't think much of it; didn't know if it is going to be annoying or not. However, I honestly don't think it's necessary. Once the cycle is finished, the door opens automatically and the excess steam escapes, leaving the dishes dry. In my opinion, it performs just as great as if you would have the drying function. I would not get discouraged by this. The design and functionality of this appliance is honestly great. Dishes will be dry, but you will still have a little bit of water (few drops, not a little puddle) at the top of the cups left, just like any other dishwasher. Also, people have been complaining that the singing melodies, when you touch the buttons, are annoying. Well, after a few uses, yes, it does get annoying. However, there is a quick fix for it. You can silence the machine. Problem solved. The dishwasher comes pre-set to 4, in how much of jet dry it uses. In my opinion, in that setting, it was using the rinse liquid too fast, without any particular benefits to it. I chaged the setting to 2. I believe that's an optimal number. Maybe 1 could do as well, but I would have to try that one yet.

This dishwasher has had problems since day 1. It intermittently ends the dishwashing cycle within 5 - 10 minutes of starting a normal wash cycle. We are waiting for them to come out a SEVENTH time to "fix" the dishwasher. Customer service has been incredibly unhelpful and inconsiderate of our time (hours on customer service calls, days off work for "repairs", etc), money wasted, and the situation of not having a functional dishwasher for nearly 7 months - each time you call with a problem, it takes roughly 2 weeks to a month for a technician to come out. Other problems included water leaking inside the dishwasher (filling up the bottom of the dishwasher) - they initially made us cut a hole in our BRAND NEW cabinets for to "correct" this, which didn't work. Throughout several months, several technicians came out to fix this, "replacing" this or that part. The problem eventually stopped, but only after multiple trips out to our house, pulling the dishwasher in and out of our brand new cabinets (scratching them). We regret purchasing our appliances through Samsung.
