[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving my Samsung Linear Wash Dishwasher and it was a huge upgrade when doing kitchen chores. First off lets talk about how it looks. The dishwasher has a very clean and modern look that fits in with my other stainless steel appliances. The stainless steel is also fingerprint resistant and I have yet to have a single finger print show up! All the controls are also hidden at the top while being easy to read and interact with. However, this dishwasher is not all about ascetics. It also packs a punch while staying whisper quite in operation. Gone are the days of noisy washing in the background and now we can have dinner or watch a movie without having the sound of the dishwasher in the background. On top of super quite aspects the dishwasher has 2 additional features I just LOVE. One is the cycle clock counts down the exact time left on the front so you know how long you have left. Second, if you are not around to open the dishwasher when the cycle is complete the door will automatically pop open to circulate air. This not only keeps your dishwasher from getting musty, but also dries the dishes faster. I can't stress out OUTSTANDING this feature is as you can now run the dishwasher before you leave out of town and not worry about musty clean dishes. The features inside are a strong linear power washing system that features booster settings to get even the dirtiest dishes clean. The inside also features 3 adjustable racks that give you a ton of storage. The bottom rack is designed for larger items like plates, pots, large bowls, etc. The second drawer is designed for smaller items and all your glassware. This drawer adjusts up or down depending on how big your plates are on the bottom. The final drawer is the silverware drawer at the top. I love this setup as it makes it easy to unload, but I could also see people not liking it since it takes more time to load. The drawer is however removable and you can use the silverware basket on the bottom drawer instead. Only negative thing I can even think about is I can't use my large plates plus stemmed/traditional wine glasses and the 3rd drawer due to the height clearances...but that is why they make stemless wine glasses. All and all I am in love with my new upgrade.

I bought this dishwasher due to dB rating. What I have found is it is the quietest dishwasher ever made because it is never in operation. I bought this unit approx. 16-18 months ago. Right out of box, the upper (glass ) rack was a problem. It just slid apart and all the ball bearing fell out. A Certified Samsung Tech came out & replaced the guide rail. This led to a leak around the nuts holding the rail in place. Tightened and fix. Here I am nearly a year later and literally less than 10 cycles use (in my basement) & the same problem has occurred. Of course, it is out of warranty now & it means absolutely NOTHING that this a a repeat problem. Not, to mention the fact, that others are having this SAME problem when you read the reviews. This is either a build issue at Samsung or a design issue as it is not very robust. What is the point of adding "functionality" if you can't use the functions or the unit b/c it is constantly breaking? Don't worry, someone online will be quick to point out your warranty situation and help you with an appointment you can pay for. Even better, they will recommend you fixing it yourself. On the bright side, if you ever get to use it, it is very quiet & does clean the dishes well. However, it is less reliable than my kids.

I love that the door opens automatically 10 minutes before the end of the cycle to let the moisture and steam out. It does connect to the house wifi and lets you know (via cellphone) as it goes through it's cycles. However, I wish they would update the firmware so that you could stop and start the cycles via smartphone.

Bought this fancy Samsung dishwasher with all the fancy little "functions" is not impressive. Trays are nice and it washes dishes--That's it for Samsung! So did dishwasher back in the 20th Century, but unlike the high-priced units today the oldies actually operated to make our life convenient. Other high and low end brands dry dishes and provide drying controls. Meaning they Wash & Dry dishes, unlike this unit that leaves everything WET. Doesn't matter cycle mode or rinse aid because Samsung engineers did not bother to design any drying controls for its tinny tiny little fan, instead they jokingly added a auto-door opener... LOL! Really in this century we have to "open the door" to try to DRY dishes, really? Actually it's ludicrous to wake up into your modern Samsung Kitchen, turn on Family Hub, and have to have dishwasher door hanging open, then pull out trays with WET DISHES. Not Convenient! Samsung needs to think better and advance this technology to be real-life as practical as its other appliances. Add more alerts, colored LEDs to give us status at-a-glance for rinse aid (green=full, yellow=low, red=empty), bigger vent and fan, more intuitive buttons, and Drying Controls that actually dry dishes to sparkle every cycle no matter how full. Value in review only 3 STARS: one for Style, one for Quietness, one for Wash.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 4 new Samsung appliances about a month ago, one of which was the Samsung Dishwasher. It is quiet, cleans and dries well, and has a digital time left on the front which is handy. It is smart like the other 3 appliances I bought and my Samsung washer and dryer and you can ask Alexa to update the status although it is very limited. Better with SmartThings. It did arrive with a broken rail for the top rack, so now waiting on a replacement that will be installed end of next month.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher does a good job. It’s so quiet you don’t hear a thing except when it beeps. I am not happy with the top shelf for silverware because it takes up too much room from the middle shelf, and the silverware sometimes has spots.

It does an excellent job of cleaning dishes and getting the glassware spotless. It is so much better than my previous dishwasher. I love the smart control and Smart Things integration and am very happy with my purchase.

first thing i noticed, i could not put my glasses in with the second rack in highest position without it hitting third rack and knocking glasses over and not closing all the way. if i put second rack in lower position then i can’t put my 11” inch plates in bottom rack without the water sprayer hitting plates. i ended up taking the top rack out in order to fit my glasses and plates. i have not used it enough to review the performace for cleaning dishes yet.
